| I wonder if that means filming for Banking on Mr. Toad starts soon. If so, it's nice for Ioan that the whole family is traveling together. I'm sure it's nice for his parents, too. |

I guess it means Mr Toad is due to start filming soon and Ioan and Alice must have taken the occasion to get to the UK and spend some time with their families. I can imagine her grandparents having a great time with Ella.

Not sure that it has been mentioned in any of the articles if it is a first grandchild for Ioan's family. Although if Siwan has been studying medicine, the kids seemed old for them to be hers. Quite possible they were from Alice's brothers or other relatives children.  |

A nice little piece. And,perhaps Ioan is headed over to Ireland to start work on "Banking On Mr. Toad". Hope so. Miss Ella is an international traveler now,heh?

Sorry, marthe! I didn't mean to confuse anyone  Jamie Bamber (aka Hornblower's Archie Kennedy) is s good friend of Ioan's and he mentioned on his own site, Bamber Bunnies, that he was off to play golf in Cornwall with 'the boys'. I know these two regularly play golf together and as Devon is just North of Corwall............

| Oh yes now I understand, but I did not know they were friends. If they are such good friends as in Hornblower, than they are really good friends. I liked Archie a lot. Their friendship gave me such a good feeling. Oh I loved those two boys, where are the days ? |
