We are very pleased to finally be able to announce the birth of our .com site www.ioanzone.com
The project is still in it's infancy and much work remains to be done, but as we consider you all to be part of the team here at the Zone, we would welcome any thoughts and suggestions you have on IZ.com.
New sections, favourite pics and downloads or archive material - let us know what you would like to see. The Gallery has a very long list of pics still waiting to be uploaded, but we have undoubtedly missed some!
Let us know what you think/would like to see, both here on this thread and in the Guestbook at IZ.com. And don't worry - we're very thick-skinned!
We would also like to stress that the forum remains at the heart of Ioanzone and it will always be so. The .com extension is a way for us to organise and expand on our already extensive collection of Ioan material.
Lastly, a huge thankyou to maiden for her invaluable hard work, guidance and support in building IZ.com.

Very exciting in seeing us grow! Thanks to maiden and all who contributed. Of course forum section will still bring us here which is nice. Sure there will be more visits to the site and therefore we might see some new members if they decide to join and participate.
Nicely done! Loving the military lettering of the site. You know why _________________

I'd like to thank both Stevie and Maiden for the hard work they put into creating ioanzone.com
Hopefully, we will be able to make it grow. _________________ Every journey brings its own surprises: a challenge, a sudden detour, a new set of friends along the way, perhaps even a destination different from the one you intended. (Loreena McKennitt) |

Just a quick question, I didn't browse much trough the gallery, so I have been wondering whether it is completed and if we have some pictures do we send them to you? I have saved some back from IoanOnline and will be glad to contribute as I am sure others will too.
Thanks Stevie! _________________

Selma, the Gallery is far from completed - we all have so many pics! However there are always different ones popping up, so there is no harm in sending your favourites. If you don't have my email, PM me and I'll send it.
Just one note, if anyone has IoanOnline material, please make it clear that's where it came from when you send it (or indeed any other source if you have it)
IZ.com really is going to be a team effort!

Congratulations!
Two suggestions off the top: I'm a big fan of RSS feeds to keep up with the news on my fave sites... will you have an RSS update function?
Second: Paying for a .com ain't cheap... will you have a Donation button with Paypal? I'm sure lots of fans would be willing to offer $5 or more to pay for the site's annual expenses. |
