May I admit that I find quite 'funny' when they launch con-*test*-('")s/-*test*-('")s and give enough people enough time to research and find out what the correct answer to questions is, thus the number of potential winners increases and chances each has to win decrease?

Isn't it like those TV phone-ins (sore point in UK at the moment!!!!) where they pitch the anser as easy as possible to get more people to phone in, 'cos that's where they make their money? (not sure if emails make them money, though, unless it's better for advertisers or something........?)

I guess that web quizzes may work much like TV phone-ins. Even if they don't make money directly through them, they can use the number of phone calls and emails received to prove they have many viewers/visitors and attract advertisers.
