Duffy "Mercy"
Lead Me On - Amy Grant
I love Amy's "Baby, Baby"
Oh, I just discovered and listened to Duffy last night on Youtube.
I was singing Different Drum by Linda Ronstadt.
That makes me think of her "Somewhere Out There" ----- such a pretty song. Cried the first time I heard it.
I still adore that movie Matie!
I like that song, too. The movie reminds me of when I worked as a Pre-school teacher. That movie was a favorite.
The Flag by Barenaked Ladies (I love' em!)
I don't know that particular song, but I love the BNL. There sense of humor is so funny, but you have to listen which is one of the things I like about them. I used to listen to one of their CD's when I ran. I just read that they produced a CD for Children.
Think I'm going to go home from the library and dig out my old copy of Helen Reddy's "I Am Woman". That word 'invincible' made me think of it. Thank you, Gnat.
 Anytime Matie!
By the way - going back a few posts here, I just discovered Duffy a couple weeks ago while watching Ellen. She was on. And then on last week's season finale of Grey's Anatomy, they played that song "Mercy". I love the sound!!! Sorry, but she's 10 times better than Amy Winehouse.
I love Barenaked Ladies too. And about Duffy, that song "Mercy" reminds me of 50ties and 60ties classics with a new beat. Really catchy!
I am listening Everlast and "This Kind of Lonely"
I agree Selma! Fifties with a twist.
Yah! I'm thinking about giving my Dad the Duffy CD for Father's day. He and my Mom love a variety of music and great singers most of all. I think she'd qualify.
She's yet another tiny thing with a huge voice. *jealous*
