 Love your castings! He'd do a good Sandman (turned stripper  ) If they are planning Tintin films, maybe there will be films about other french/belgium comics. Asterix already done, but the stuert in Natasha comics would be so very goofy role for him, a very different "leading" man.

Sorry, been off the net for awhile--unlucky for you I'm back <insert evil laugh> Fred Astaire--yes, resounding and repeating. Errol Flynn, Douglas Fairbanks--naw, he's too slight. If we are leaning towards thirties icons what about Bing? He might be able to pull off a Bogart, Io's got one of those sly looks I could easily see peeking from under a fedora. Just DO NOT let him be Cagney. hehe

I can so see Ioan as a FBI agent or a cop that has to do the right thing. His acting rang is unbelievable. So him doing a thriller would be so intriguing!

I can remember once reading an interview in which Ioan said that, apart from wanting to do a western, he would like to do a remake of "Tootsie". I saw the original with Dustin Hoffman, but can't quite see him doing it. Can anyone picture him in drag :?:  He's certainly slim enough to carry it off as a woman  It would also give him an opportunity to show how versatile he can be :!:

I can see where you're coming from, sort of, Sylviane. Although Fred astaire wasn't that good looking, he played leading men so there must have been something besides his dancing. i think Ioan has that classic matinee idol look and would do well in a biopic. How about Errol Flynn? :hammer Fred Astaire would be an interesting choice, although I don't know quite how they would make a film about his life, given that he was a very private man off screen. You're right when you say he must have had something more besides his dancing. However, since he was such a superlative dancer, I think that side would be a real challenge to Ioan, who , by his own admission says that he has two left feet :!: Regarding a biopic, possibly Errol Flynn, I'm with you there Stevie

Can anyone picture him in drag :?: (blink, blink, blllllllllllink, ....) Nope, but give me a little time to adjust the mental images and I'll get back to you on this. :happy Can't really imagine him in a western yet either, though. He's just no Clint Eastwood or Charles Bronson. I feel that cowboys should be rough and dirty and he'd probably end up playing the sherriff because I cannot see him as a bad guy... Basically, Max Bracchi in another setting. NOTHING wrong with Max, but I've seen it and Ioan cannot get sexier than Max. (Oh, the toothpick!.. the coat! )

StevieT- 06-23-2007

NOTHING wrong with Max, but I've seen it and Ioan cannot get sexier than Max. (Oh, the toothpick!.. the coat! ) Ohhhhhh, Syviane! Now you've done it. Cowboy dreams for me tonight! :cloud9: Max Brachi is just............. :naughty :cold shower 1 :faint material. Hmmm, thinks! How about a remake of Bonanza, with Ioan as 'Little' Joe?

Sylviane- 06-23-2007

Sweet 'Sexy Max' dreams, girl! :snooze Mmhmm, I could go with "Little Joe" for Ioan, but who could ever replace the great Lorne Greene? I do remember him mostly as my wonderful Commander Adama, but I have to admit that I liked Pa Cartwright as well. That voice!!! (Sorry, got this thing about men and voices.) But Ioan as Little Joe would still make him the good guy. I'd like to see him do something meaner, darker. :devil

Oh, make my day! I vote for Bamber and McGann, but only if Matthew Rhys can play along... Orlando Bloom? Johnny Depp? Dominic Purcell? How about a remake of the invasion on D-Day? Like for instance : the Longest Day? Always good for some serious acting, too. We nust not forget that, no matter how easily we could with such names...
