What in the holy *&%$ hell?
We interupt my usual story to bring you this little it of insanity. My niece, who was left back a year due to a reading problem and who now is in 6th grade, has one of THE worse sadistic teachers to go on record here in NJ. and I though Jeanine Duane was a pill. Apparently, this teacher has been harrassing Jessie all year as well as a number of other students. This woman is Jessie's homeroom teacher. this is what went down. Jessie has an upper resperatory infection in the beginning of the week and went home with a high fever and acidentally left her books, notebooks, pens, pencils and other personal items on a chair in the homeroom instead of in her locker. THE BITCH THREW THEM OUT. THE TEXTBOOKS, ALL OF JESSIE'S RESEARCH REPORTS, I THINK A LIBRARY BOOK OR TWO AND ALL OF HER PERSONAL ITEMS....GONE,,,,INTO THE F****KING TRASH. She has done this to other students but luckly they managed to get down to the trash bins to rescue their work. Jessie was out of school for the better part of last week and comes back on friday to NOTHING, Y'know, I was raised strickly. My father would warn us, if you don't pick that up, its going in the garbage and he did throw some things of mine and my sister's away. But those were toys that were all over the place and shoes that were left for the billionth time in the middle of the hallway for people to trip over them. But school property? textbooks? Library books? Not just from the school library but from the town? All of her personal item? Just for leaving them on a chair. One time. The teacher's excuse was 'they weren't supposed to be there" God bless my niece and she has my temper. She just sat there in class, beyond pissed. She didn't cry. She just sat there absolutely livid. This is also a situation that my sister doesn't need right now since her bipolar is a little uncontrolled at present. So today, Jessie's father and my stepfather -- whose father was asked to be a supreme court justic back in the 50's and served as a laywer for the board of education for 50 years, are going down to the school to 'sort this out' apparently, what this teacher did is an actionable offense. So now I am here with baited breath wondering what;s going to happen. First off you don't F***k with my brother in law. Second, You don't mess with my stepfather an ex San Diego Charger whose entire family are Notre Dame Lawyers, except one who is a Doctor. I am in total awe of what this woman did. I will keep you posted. mim

Okay so Andy and I think my sister went to the school yesterday, but NATURALLY, the principal wasn't in. The assistant vice principal was and she was horrified. She took Jessie to the school store and bought Jessie notebooks, folder, pens, pencils and got text books for her. I thought this was a good generous start to the problem. BUT LO! Tracy spoke to the principal today and got: "Oh no, not one of OUR teachers. no teacher would do such a thing. One of the other students must be behind this. Then Tracy said that the teacher made a formal announcment to the class to humilate Jessie and to get her "point" across. "The reason that JESSICA is sitting there with NOTHING to do is because I put her things into the recycling bin." Still, the principal insisted that it couldn't be true in a lazy condisending manner. Tracy asked if anyone else reported this behavior and the principal said no. Naturally, no child is going to tell their parents that their stuff was chucked out by a teacher because it was left in the wrong place. Parents with teenaged children propbably would sympathize with the policy since they can't get their kids to pick up their shoes or coats or whatever even after the 100th time telling them to pick it up. My sister was ready to barf she was so pissed. So they are moving onto the Superintendant. Someone has to interview the class when the teacher isn't there. I personally would like to see what would happen if she were confronted. I have half a mind to give Jessie my little digital recorder to tape this woman in action. The other half would love to sit in on the class and observe. I am such a bitch sometimes.
