My lunch was chicken tenders with my special mashed potatoes and cream corn. Yum-o! However, GG, I'm with you. I can use some chocolate now. I can't wait to go home and have some of my leftover b-day cake. My grandpa got me 3 different kinds of cake. All my faves and all delish!!! (Yes, he spoils me  )

Gaffer'sGirl- 06-27-2007

What a wonderful Grandpa you have, Gnat. My Dad being the wonderful father that he is smoked a bunch of Halibut for me in his smoker today and tomorrow he's doing Copper River Salmon. Yumm! I should have enough to last until next year at this time. Plop it on some crackers with some mayo and I've got dinner. GG

GG - you have no idea. He really does spoil me. In fact, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't even be going to Sicily this year. Nor would I have gone to Italy 5 years ago. I am so thankful for him and his wife. And that sounds scrumptious by the way! I'm not a fan of salmon, but halibut is good. At least, I think I like. My mom tells me I would like it. As for me, my mom is going to be making me my steak on the grill for my birthday Friday before we go out drinking. In fact, we might even be doing steak and shrimp on scewers (sp?). YUM-O!!!!

Kettle Handcooked Crisps

Gaffer'sGirl- 06-28-2007

Midnight - Crisps are our chips, aren't they? I love Lays which are thin and very greasy, so they have to be a rare treat and the small individual bag. Their ad used to say "no one can eat just one." And that is all too true. GG - you have no idea. He really does spoil me. In fact, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't even be going to Sicily this year. Nor would I have gone to Italy 5 years ago. I am so thankful for him and his wife. - Sicily! I hope we'll hear more about this when you go. As for me, my mom is going to be making me my steak on the grill for my birthday Friday before we go out drinking. In fact, we might even be doing steak and shrimp on scewers (sp?). YUM-O!!!! I had steak tonight at Outback, but sadly no shrimp. I love shrimp. Guess I just love food in general. Too bad for me. GG

I'm soo craving some Mac & Cheese, chicken & cheesecake! :applaud:

KingLancelot- 08-02-2007

I could go for Spaghetti and Meatballs.

Gaffer'sGirl- 08-02-2007

Yesterday I went berry picking with my sister and her two kids. We got blueberries and raspberries, just at the peak of ripeness. Oh, so luscious. Now I'll have to make some shortcake. I've already got the whipped cream. GG

Way to make my mouth water GG  Enjoy that shortcake! I'm with you KingLancelot, (welcome, by the way to you and MiladyRomance) I too could go for spaghetti and meatballs!

GNAT0629- 08-02-2007

Oh Kelly cheesecake!!! One of my most favorite desserts. That is definitely something I haven't had in a long time so I could go for it too! Although some of my friends came over last night for dinner and one brought MATT'S chocolate chip cookies. She left them with me (evil girl! ) so I could go for those too.

KingLancelot- 08-02-2007

Tiger bread for some strange reason

Gaffer'sGirl- 08-09-2007

Midnight, what is tiger bread? I've not heard of it before. Is it an English product?

Frances- 08-09-2007

Pain au chocolat.
