Given below are some "mental snapshots". I came up with a series of linked haikus, in which Ioan is the principal character. The female roles in each could be played by anyone, I suppose. (Any takers out there---hee,hee?) I hope you can see Ioan as plainly as I do in these "poetic scenes" of mine. The FIRST SCENE I call "His Magic Touch" : You, with but one glance.....A frost-bitten heart can melt,.....Turn hot ire to love.///////You, without a word.....By walking into the room,.....Does this heart now stir.///////You, with hint of smile.....Upon your lips,enticing,.....Promising a kiss.///////You,without a thought.....Can change her world completely,.....By touching her face.############################################The SECOND SCENE is entitled "First Big Fight" : Stares into the fire,.....Shadows dance upon his face,.....Jawline muscles twitch.///////Angry words were said,.....And so, they stand back-to-back,.....What will they do now?///////She,silently weeps.....And runs upstairs, door slamming. .....He, will sleep downstairs.///////Who knows who was "right"?.....Maybe him? or,Maybe her?.....Tears well in his eyes.############################################At the moment, I'm having trouble thinking of any more "scenes" for Ioan to "perform" for us. Have any suggestions,Anyone???

Wow, you've been busy, Shipmate. Those scenes are very easy to visualize. Very nice job. I'll put on my thinking cap and ponder other ideas for you. :dunce: :snooze :cold shower 1 . That may lead me to the Alley, but I'm willing to take on the task.

Thank you. Where you lead...I may follow...

I thought of two more "scenes" that Ioan could play for us~~~~~~~~This one is called SUMMER, 1943 Perfect July day,......Riverside picnic for two,......Wine,cheese,fruit to eat.//////Two delicate swans......Touch bills together and form......A heart-shaped outline.//////She sighs,...points them out,......And says to him: "They always......Mate for life, you know..."//////Her lap holds his head,......And she strokes his soft, dark curls,......Smiling down at him.//////He frowns, and sits up,......There's something he must tell her......That he soon will leave!////// I'm so sorry,Dear......But this curs-`ed war calls me......And away I'm called..."//////He searches her face......For some sign of forgiveness,......Her eyes speak to him.////// "Will you wait for me?"......"Will you---be my bride,Darling?"......"My Love---will you WAIT??" ************************************************************* A second one is called: HIS DREAMLAND Once upon a time,......A ten-year-old boy in Wales......Quietly daydreamed.////// Who knows what thoughts grew......In that Garden of his mind?......Who will he become?////// A knight?-- on horseback......Brave and true, saving the Land......With a magic sword?!!////// Or Navy Captain?--......Shouting orders at his crew...... Ev'ry battle won!////// Detective?-- maybe.. ......Fighting crime, solving murders......Pictures in the news??////// A Superhero!!--......Running,jumping,flying 'round......'S-t-r-e-t-c-h' out to the stars??!!////// "Supper's on,Ioan!......Time to move along now,Son."...... "Alright,Mum,...comin'..."////// Daydreams put on 'hold'. ......New ones can be dreamed again......On another day!

Whenever I see your name listed in Original Works I feel a sense of excitement hoping to see another of your poetic works. Must say my hopes were not dashed. Both were well down, but number two really touched my heart - very sweet - easy to visualize and universal because you could almost replace the name and see the excitement of any young child at the adventures life brings and yet it suited what we know of Ioan also. Excellent job, Par'ner:cowboy:

Thank you so much, Matie :hug I am richer for your imagination.
