Anyway, Michael has played Tony twice now - just because he did it well doesn't mean he wants a career in being Tony Blair! And it doesn't mean someone else can't interpret the role very differently and still be a success.
BTW, if anyone gets the chance to see Michael in the biopic of Kenneth Williams 'Fantabulosa!' do it,; it's a masterpiece!

:lol: Besides thinking that Ioan can make a very good Blair (he has already proven that he can be credible in a quite a range of different roles), I guess Michael Sheen might not want to be stuck with playing Tony Blair over and over again.

Did we know that Ioan Gruffudd (the Welsh actor) is to play Tony Blair in W, a forthcoming Hollywood biopic of George W. Bush? According to Welsh reports, he has been in touch with Michael Sheen (of The Queen) for tips. “I’ve got to get the blue contact lenses in, lose a bit of hair and smile a lot,” says Gruffudd. “I’m very excited about it.”

Well, I like the smile a lot part as Ioan has a great smile and he might look fine with blue eyes, but I hope he doesn't lose too much of his gorgeous hair :waaah: . even if I know it's temporary. Oh well, even with the limited hair in Black Hawk Down, I'd still appreciate that smile. :thud
