Let's see, was it last night---or the night before? On "Entertainment Tonight" they even quickly ran the mug shots of the five who were involved in the 'session' at the "Stray Cat"........a bit of a motley crew,I'd say!

Gaffer'sGirl- 07-16-2008

From what it said on IMDB, it sounds like they were wrapping that night. There was mention of a racial slur being used against Jeffery Wright and others coming to defend him. It will be interesting to see the result. I suppose none looked too good at 2:00AM and celebratory drinking.

Shipmate- 07-16-2008

Yes, all the mug shots were definitely unflattering to say the very least.

Gaffer'sGirl- 07-17-2008

Sounds like we haven't heard the last of this incident.

Silvia- 07-17-2008

But I´m hoping we have GG!!! ;)

Nicolette- 07-17-2008

I also hope this incident will stop being mentioned or talked about, in the media. :???: They should talk about the movie instead. :)

Frances- 07-17-2008

I also hope this incident will stop being mentioned or talked about, in the media. :???: They should talk about the movie instead. :) Though I'm afraid we haven't heard the last of this incident, to quote GG, I also hope it won't come up in the media anymore and that it is 'W' we will be hearing about.

Gaffer'sGirl- 07-17-2008

Well, the only case that I would like to hear more is if Mr. Wright's civil rights were violated, that would concern me. I hate to say it, but there are still many areas in the U.S., in particular the South where Blacks are treated poorly. If this is the case and the Police were abusive, I hope there is a follow up. If it was an ordinary bar brawl and response due to drunk people than I'd just as well not hear of it again either.

thanks for the news annee!

Gaffer'sGirl- 07-25-2008

Thanks Annee and MIS. Well, hard to tell from a picture that small, but he still looks more Ioanish than Tony Blair, so I'm happy.

StevieT- 07-25-2008

Ha, Ha! Industry Boys have a barney....twas ever thus! 'Impeding the arrest' sounds to me like drunken mates trying misguidedly to help each other! It certainly got a lot more publicity for the movie, eh? Methinks Welshboy was miles away on his best behaviour  (Matie - did you think what I thought when it turned out to be in the Stray Cat bar? ) Thanks for the W link annee! Well, well, he's certainly kept a lot more hair than our Tone, but I see they've died it. One thing Ioan does seem to have down pat is the placatory 'nice guy' smile!

Shipmate- 07-25-2008

Stevie, Thought of it immediately :rotf: Couldn't believe it,what a HOOT!! I do kind of like the "Tony Blair" look. He'll do just fine for me,anytime. Hurry up,October, I wanna see this movie!

Shipmate- 07-25-2008

Me again. Did you know that the announcer guy from "Access Hollywood" (Billy Bush) is a cousin of the President's? (Maybe he's got a little inside-track on some stuff, huh?)

StevieT- 07-28-2008

Ah, so that's where that pic came from! Thanks annee! I think this film will be interesting, Ioan or not.

Shipmate- 07-28-2008

Thanks very much,Annee,.........guess there's just no place really to hide anything on the internet,is there? :hide2:
