You DID enjoy these criticisms I can see.
Well... Now I read your comments I TOO agree the "errors" man clearly LOOKED FOR criticism.
Myself I USED (because now my written french has become pathetic) to be OK at school with grammar, orthograf etc...
Although this article does not mention Ioan, I think it raises some interesting points about the film.....

Interesting article! I could have written it myself. Thanks for sharing, Stevie.
Good one,Stevie. Leave it to Stone to start people talking,at least. I may not always agree with his presentations, but you've got to hand it to him,.....he's a provocative guy.
Thanks for the article StevieT. :hug
I hope it's OK to post it here and I hope someone can be interested.
Thanks To My Irish Sister.
BAM Casting is looking for extras to appear in 'W' starring Josh Brolin and directed by Oliver Stone. Most days of filming are a one day commitment, typically 12 to 14 hours. Although the company is accepting applications of all ages, they are mainly in need of men and women between the ages of 25 and 65.
If you're interested, you can sign up at the BAM office located inside Stageworks (the old Expo Hall) at 400 Clyde Fant June 18, 19 & 20 from 12pm - 6pm or by downloading a registration form at www.bamcastingla.com and email it along with a color headshot and body shot to registration@bamcastingla.com or themoview@gmail.com.

Thanks, Annee!
Any Yo-Zoners living in the US (or willing to fly to the US) interested in appearing as an extra in W?
A little too far for me! I'd have to fly diagonally across country. Maybe some of our Florida contingent would be close enough. How about it, ladies?
Thanks for the article Stevie!!!!!!!!
That WOULD be pretty exciting stuff. And, loads of fun, too,I bet!
Someone (I do not remember where and when, sorry) once asked about the strike and how this would affect W.
According to this article, a deal has been signed. :)
Thanks To My Irish Sister.
Several high-profile independent films, such as Bad Lieutenant starring Nicolas Cage and W, Oliver Stone's chronicle of the Bush presidency, are moving ahead with production, since they have negotiated separate deals with SAG.

I think I can remember a strike being mentioned in connection to 'W', though it was likely not the same strike the Time article refers to. I guess that the strike mentioned earlier was the writers' (WGA) strike, this new one is an actors' (SAG and AFTRA) strike.
I do hope the 'deal' doesn't make Welshboy a blackleg! :tsk tsk:

It sounds like a special deal was signed with SAG, so that would not be the case. Since it's a quick shoot, Ioan is likely to be finished with his part before the strike. Seem to recall Ioan did make a comment about not crossing the strike lines during the WGA strike, so I doubt he'd do it against his own union.
I am lost.
What's going on girls?? :help:
Thank you in advance. :hug
