Doesn't bode well for the people of Rome if it's true, methinks! What is it with mayors these days?????

Hmm! When I saw this line of the article: 5a. Ioan Gruffudd as Tony Blair? I’m a huge fan of Gruffudd’s, but he’s probably the last person in the world I’d have expected to play the former British prime minister. I had to agree in that my mind automatically thinks Michael Sheen and I don't think Ioan looks as much like Tony (Thank goodness for little favors.) But my two main thoughts were, it is a tribute to Ioan's acting skills that he got the role since he doesn't look much like Tone. And it is rather daring for him to take a role in what is bound to be a controversial film.

Ditto, GG! Whatever the outcome, it will be interesting! (and Ioan will be blasted for not looking enough like/ sounding enough like Tony, as if that were the whole point of the exercise! :bricks )

That's an interesting article, Stevie. I guess I'm one of the 60-70% willing to take a look-see. Of couse, having Ioan in it increases the possibilities.

Yep, I'm still interested in seeing the film,even if Ioan wasn't in it.
