I actually don't see why all the fuss about Pattinson.
Selma, I think it's a teenage thing (Oh beep, that makes me sound old..... :granny: )
Oh no, no. no it doesn't. But something about him doesn't appeal to me. I don't know, well it's different will anyone I guess. Tastes are funny thing.
Thomas Dekker is way younger than me and he is cute as can be. It's not the physical thing cause there are some very handsome actors I don't fancy. And other not so good looking I do.
Since this is Twilight thread let me say I still haven't seen it since we don't have the theater or cinema here it was destroyed in the war and haven been built yet. I am not sure will I though, maybe when it shows on tv, cause it doesn't really interest me. I am not saying that I won't but one day maybe. On the book note I don't read much.
You know,I can't really understand all the hoo-hah over Pattenson either. (The picture posted above is about the nicest-looking one I've seen.) I guess, that the comment that I made in the previous post is based solely on the picture that was posted. ............................. When I read all the books,my imagination conjured up a certain image of "Edward",and honestly,it WASN'T Pattenson................. and,I've got a pretty fair imagination when it comes to such things...........    .
Which actor could you see as being Edward?
Honestly,Selma,I'm really hard-pressed to pick someone handsome enough. I know that sounds insane, but MY 'Edward' is really quite beyond words. (Of course, every woman has that "ideal man" vision in her head, doesn't she? -----hahahahah!) -----------------------I DO promise you that I will think about it................
Gaff, I have looked at the picture of that woman and yes she looks a bit like you.
Thanks for sharing it.
There are some pictures more and some less, Marthe. But, it was a little startling to see someone similar who met with a tragic death and is a local legend.
For those Twilight fans excited about New Moon, the Today Show did a little feature on Forks with a few shots of Port Angeles which is in my neck of the woods. Hope you enjoy.

Hey,GG,just saw the piece and it's nicely-done. Seems like it's only been mere weeks ago that the first film was in theaters--now here comes the second one already. Looking forward to it,too!! November 20th.....................oooooooo,just NEXT WEEK.............
I liked it that they showed the real Forks and PA. I know people who grew up in Forks who are shocked by all the attention.
:) I can just imagine! All the hoopla must make some of the old-timers around there pretty upset sometimes. It's kind of hard when a bunch of "outsiders" come in,messing around,in a normally quiet town,I'm sure.
Well, I think some of them appreciate the tourism money, but many younger people desired to escape Forks because of its isolation. Some people go there and love it because of the isolation and don't want to see that changed. Can't make everyone happy, can you?
