Here is a picture of the beautiful, mysterious Lake Crescent mentioned in the books. It is glacier fed, very clear and extremely deep. It is between Forks and Port Angeles.
There was a woman in the late 30's who was murdered and dumped here. When she was found, her body had been "saponified" which meant it was a soap like substance. The weird thing is that she looks a little like me when I was about her age. She was identified by the large bunion on her right foot - just like mine. She also had reddish brown hair and greenish hazel eyes - LIKE MINE! Really creepy!

Yeah! The first time i looked at her picture, it was strange. Then, when others, including my sisters agreed she looked like me! Quite the :shock I'm very careful any time I go to Lake Crescent.
Sorry Gaff, I just opened this item and read that creepy story. But I do not find the second entry on that page. Does it have a title, so I can see that picture of Hallie. I can imagine that that lake gives you the creeps.
But the reason that I opened 'Twilight' is to mention that I just read in the newspaper that Robert Pattinson is declared the most sexiest man on the world. Second is Johnny Depp.
