Canada must have offered better incentives than Oregon. Vancouver is about four and a half hours from me, but requires a passport. With the way the weather is right now, that's just a little too far. Oh well, maybe they'll decide to film a scene in P.A. or Forks. I heard some talk that they might. Not likely though.
It's too bad that Stephanie Meyers couldn't trust one of her friends. That's a scary thing for a writer. Guess she knows now.
Twilight dvd was relelased yesterday, and for the last month it has been #1 on the DVDs to buy list here in NZ. I bought a copy, despite being told not to because it is coming in from overseas for me as a birthday present along with a special giveaway; but my copy I bought yesterday had a special edition softball with it. The ball has the twilgiht logo on it.
Also, I put "Multnomah Falls" into a search pane and found a lot of photos of the falls, but they dont look like the movie, so I am guessing that some digital work was done on them.
I hope that you enjoy your DVD. If it doesn't look like Multnomah, my guess is that they either combined it with other footage from another fall or doctored it.
Thank you GG. My friend who was buying the twilight dvd for me had it cancelled at her online store because they ran out of the special giveaways, so she bought it from a store and bought a bone chine cup, saucer and plate from Royal Albert to go with it. It's lovely.
I think the photos from the waterfall must have been doctored; sad cos I loved it just the way it was.
Twilight news: the first photos from Italy have come through, they are on twilighersanonymous.com the Piazza Grande in Montepulciano is the set for the water fountain where Bella races to stop Edward from stepping into the midday sun.

Here is a picture of Marymere Falls. It is near to Lake Crescent (mentioned in the books) and not too far from Forks. Not quite like the movie, but then, that's Movie Magic for you.
