Thrilled
I want to dance in the street or go buy a pint of ice cream to eat, but it is nearly one o'clock AM here in Washington and the closest grocery store is eight miles away. So, I'll have to be satisfied with sharing my good news with my friends here. Here it is - Close to a year after I wrote the treatment, I finally finished the second draft of my script. One hundred and twelve pages. Now in reality, I know there will be some adjustments once I turn it over to my client, but the structure, the story, all the dialouge is there. It could be read and understood. Make sense. You could visualize it. That's a very good thing and a relief. It does have a place to go to in a month, so this gives me a little time to polish it as needed. Definitely a huge burden lifted. Since I can't party. Here goes :party :breakdance :breakdance :dance :breakdance :breakdance :party

Thanks so much, ladies. I am much relieved and feel as though a huge burden has been lifted. My tail's been dragging today. I hope to get a good night's sleep, so I can make it through work tomorrow without yawning all day.

That's great, GG! Congratulations for finishing the second draft of your script. :mex.wave:

Gaffer'sGirl- 10-24-2008

Thanks, Ladies. I always feel it is just an accomplishment to have finished as most people who set out to write a script or a book don't make it to the end. Usually, I'm too tired afterward to do much celebrating.

GNAT0629- 10-24-2008

Well Gaff - I'll celebrate for you tomorrow with my family! How about that? Chicken tacos, queso, chips and guac dip and maragaritas all around!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks ladies. I've been working everyday since I finished, but I plan on celebrating my next day off. That is, if I can find the time inbetween packing boxes.
