Thanks, Annee. I'm looking forward to the release of this dvd and finally seeing The TV Set.

Annee, I was wondering if, and when, this was going to ever happen------------and I'm happy to see that it may take place so soon!!!!!

And so begins the questioning of when this will hit DVD.........I'm anxious to see it. It was only at one theater in the Chicago area and it was way too far a drive for me. So I'll be glad when it comes to DVD so I can see it.

I can't wait to see this DVD, as I've given up all hope of ever seeing the actual film :roll: Apart from the fact that it appears to be very good and is blissfully unseen Ioan ( :cloud9: ) I'm looking forward to his British accent. I read somewhere recently (was it on this board?) about Colin Farrell being 'allowed to be Irish' whatever role he's playing. I know this is the sign of a one-dimensional actor, which Ioan certainly isn't, but I wish that beautiful voice was given free rein more often. No offence meant to our US friends or their accent, :hug I just love to hear Ioan speak 'naturally'.

I have to agree with you Stevie. His voice has so many levels and intonations in British english than shows up when he speaks with an American accent. It was better in FF2, but I think that's also why his American accent didn't sound as good in FF1 - American speech is usually not quite as monotone as it sounds when someone is trying to copy it. He also tends to talk at a different pitch with an American accent. I miss those deep, sexy tones. GG

I just put in a pre-order for "TV Set" at moviesunlimited.com (due in September), and also noticed there that FF2 will be available on October 2!

It seems like The TV Set will be out on DVD on September 25 and you can pre-order it on Amazon.com, too.

This is wonderful news!!! I've so looked forward to being able to see this movie. I'm with Stevie and GG; I'm all for Ioan speaking "au naturale" -- his accent is what drew me to him in the first place, well ok, maybe not the FIRST thing...... oh my, I think I may have to move over to the guttermaiden thread!!!

Great news I to didn't get a chance to see this in the cinema either so when it's released I will certainly be renting it.
