He does seem to be able to do all those emotions well. I only hope that more American media outlets recognize him for his abilities ( if not his looks). The other day, my sister- in-law noticed my fan listing on Facebook and she wrote me saying how much his performance in HH set her heart to flutter and wished she could see more of him. Needless to say, I gave her quite a list of possiblities.
Yes that is so great about him. He can do all those emotions. He has such a great talent. I also hope that more American and European outlets recognize him for it. Let us hope Gaff. I dream of the day that in Europe people know him better.
Thanks for the videos. :)
I agree about his talent.
He can show different emotions (like used to say Antoine Fuqua about him when he cast him for "King Arthur").
I like that.
That was a fantastic clip,Stevie. What more can I say than this------all of you are so right!
There's a new (to me anyway) clip at the Moonacre website showing Sir Benjamin dancing. How did he do?
He danced very well, muvi! It's a very short waltz and quite slow and careful, pretty sensual, actually, for a few seconds (a kind of watered down Phil and Irene  ) The film critics are right (was it Empire or Total Film?) they have made Sir Benjamin very Bronte-esque!
I saw him dancing. Nice dance! The actress he dances with is very pretty.
Mmmm, Natascha McElhone - she's stunning, isn't she? (and starring in his next project, too, though not a nice part, by the sounds of it!)
Some more clips from the film and a few words fom the cast - including Ioan!

oh. wow. That was stunning. They all have such beautiful skin. Such a great clip, hearing the actors talk. Ioan's voice is so lovely. Thank you for finding and sharing the clip, Stevie ~ simply a treat. It looks beautifully done.
You're welcome! And I agree, totally - and isn't it lovely that the drought appears to be over?
Nice comments from Total SciFi.....
Much of the film’s success is down to Ioan Gruffudd, who broods magnificently as the master of Moonacre’s crumbling mansion, drawing on literary stormy heroes like Jane Eyre’s Mr. Rochester and Wuthering Heights’s Heathcliff.
Haven't we always known he 'broods magnificently'?!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, you're makiing me crazy,Y'all! This film looks sooooooooooo good!!!!--------------------------------"A traditional fantasy that should appeal to its target audience of young girls." WELL, a few "OLD-er girls" will find it quite 'appealing' I should say TOO!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for those,Frances. It appears,so far, that the critics like the casts' performances;but, are finding faults with the story development. Wonder if any of them read the book,or got to be privy to any of the cutting process ? That might alter their opinions.
