Hmmm, thinks, maybe I could hijack the limo :gun: and force it to drive me to London, where it could sneak up to Ioan's and I could gatecrash the red carpet before anyone cottoned on who the crazy middle-aged woman drooling all over him was.......? I understand.....Well...hopefully my husband doesn't back down and takes me to this event. So Stevie if you need an accoplice I'll be there! LOL  :Knight Fighting off the deranged.... what wouldn't that be us!? hmmmmmm....

Thanks for the snippet, annee. Sarah is having a barbecue at our place before her and and her mates go clubbing (hiring a stretch limo!). Unfortunately, i have to be here, as the barbie is a family and friends occasion and I need to make sure she gets back alright after being on the Toon (as we say here in the party capital of britain!) I'm sorry you can't go to London for FF2 premiere, but I'm sure Sarah's barbecue will be fun. Does anybody know if there will be other FF2 premiere in the UK next June? (I'm thinking of Cardiff, for example: if my memory isn't failing me, they held a FF premiere there in 2005) That could be another chance for you to see Ioan, Stevie.

Yes, it's a possibility. I love cardiff, but it's a bit further and more complicated to get to than London, from where I am up near the Scottish border - Hadrian's Wall country for KA fans! I'm 2 minutes from Wallsend (no prizes for guessing why it's called that  ) we are surrounded by bits of the Roman Wall; there's a reconstruction of the wall itself and a Roman villa just along the cycle track from me - I can't pass it without thinking of KA. Okay, I hear you; Get a LIFE!

Okay, I hear you; Get a LIFE! Oh, I hardly say "get a life". I think it sounds like great fodder for imaginative thinking. I'm actually slightly envious of your description. :knight 2 and such. ( I even found a use for your new smilie) I hope if there is a Cardiff premiere you are able to work it out. Gaffer's Girl

Liverpool or Manchester (or dare I say Newcastle itself? We are the capital city of North East England, but the only premiere we've had lately was Ant and Dec's Alien Autopsy) :hide or even Glasgow or Edinburgh would be more handy. I wish I'd known about the AG prem in Liverpool......... :weeping Sorry, off topic!

StevieT- 05-10-2007

Thank you, guys, but 'charming' isn't the word I'd use! :whistle This stretch of the River Tyne (where the Wall ends) is very industrial (or it was, before Maggie Thatcher got her hands on the Labour heartlands  ) and the historic sights are presided over by huge Shipbuilding cranes and jostled by Working mens Clubs. But this mixture is what being a Geordie is all about. Sort of like this....

I showed Lyz the trailer today. She was so excited for it that....get this...we're going at midnight to see it! She is so hyped for the new movie, it's makes me really excited.

Red Admiral- 05-11-2007

Considering the Premiere was originally in August, everything seems to have been brought forward. (unfortunatley for you Stevie - still, those seem like good suggestions from Bonita & Kaitlyn). I would love to go, but am not sure I have the stamina to stand around for hours. Still, I'm thinking about it!

rox_fox- 05-11-2007

Aw, Stevie, sorry you can't make it down to London!! :hmm: I misread and thought it was July so I thought hooray!! Exams over, Ioan-time!! But alas, I have exams in June. :sad Perhaps, if I don't have an exam on the actual day, or day after, I may try and get myself down there, but it seems unlikely. Good luck anyone who can get down there, great to hear you can make it, Bonita! We want reports! :thumbs up

Fingers Crossed
Ya, I am really hoping I get to be there... Got to make sure the husband isnt going to back down in taking me... got to have my bodyguard with me... LOL.... If anyone else can make it let me know.... we all can stand out there like idiots together....LOL...(not real idiots I know). Not sure how I am going to deal with standing out there for hours only talking to the hubby....hehehe But really let me know!

I'm telling you, others who standing near you at premieres are friendly and get just as bored as you do. LOL. The ones at the one I went to started whole conversations from one question, 'Who are you here to see?'! Hope you really do get to go, how exciting for you!

BridgeofSighs- 05-15-2007

I'm going to be in central London on June 12. I should be able to get there at 5 or 5.30pm. Will I be able to see anything if I haven't been waiting forever?? What time will they be arriving at?
