okay wasn't so interested in seeing this film until I came to the post. StevieT know where I might be able to get my hands on a copy of the french version. you know to widen my horizens :wink: Unless you are planning a trip to France or have a friend who is and may buy it for you, you can have a look at Amazon.fr. A well-stocked French shop delivering internationally is FNAC (www.fnac.com). Or have a look at eBay.fr, making sure to choose a seller that ships internationally. The French title of "The Gathering" is "Les Témoins".

Thanks, Frances! Good hunting Queenie, but I ought to say it's a very short scene (17 seconds, I believe) and not completely graphic, so I would only bother if you're a compulsive adder to your Gruffudd DVD collection, as I am! :wink:

I can't wait to see this one. I am having my sister mail it to me from Texas... I forgot to pick-up my copy while I was home for the holidays... what a dork LOL

:happy lol...that really did sound naughty :naughty , hee...I finally bought this movie not long ago probably 2wks ago and I loved it...it doesn't have that scene up there and I think it's okay...I watched it and did nothing but smile :wink: the whole time i saw Ioan :wink: ...my mom was giggling at me cuz she watched it with me and she knew he brought a smile :wink: to face...It's a good suspense movie, my mom hated it cuz she thinks Ioan was being a bad boy...aww mom, it's okay he wont hurt you... --Maricruz

Okay, it might only be me, but it seemed that Ioan's wardrobe was a bit out of whack. Thanks for sharing, Annee. I don't agree with the blogger about Ioan's look in The Gathering; I actually quite liked it, and I liked the movie, too.

The wardrobe in this film doesn't bother me. However, it's not my favorite, either. I prefer the look in Happy Now, but I'm not going to complain. Any Ioan is preferable to No Ioan.

I don't agree with the blogger either. Those sweaters look great on Ioan---snuggly,even---(ahem...),even if he DID play a menacing and creepy character........

I actually liked the white jumper very much. I agree, Matie....very snuggly! First place I'd go if I was :cold:
