Thank you girls.
But does anybody know the Bleucoats ? They are from America. I think that David has visited 15 States with the Bleucoats musictour. I am going to ask wich States he has visited.
I've never seen them, but it would be interesting to find out where he played.
Gaff, here are the places where the Bleucoats played :
June : Rockford-Rio Rancho-Glendale-Clovis-Stanford-Stockton
July : Bakersfield-Santa Barbara-Pasadena-San Diego-Las Vegas-Ogden-Northern Colorado-Denver-Hutcinson-Dallas-Houston-San Antonio-Denton-Monroe-Hattisburg-Murfreesboro-Atlanta-Sevierville-Centerville-Allentown
August : Buffalo-Massillon
August 6 : DCI Quaterfinals - Indianapolis
August 7 : DCI Semifinals - Indianapolis
August 8 : Finals - Indianapolis
Wow! That tour in June and July took them through a lot of California, then it looks like Colorado, Texas and the Southern states, up North and then to the heart of America - Indiana. I have a cousin who lives in Indianapolis area and my family is from Indiana. He certainly got to see a lot of America. More than many Americans. I hope he enjoyed it.
Yes Gaff, he loves America, he has lost his heart in that beautiful, great country. I think he will go back.l
Murfreesboro????!!!! My goodness,Marthe! That's just 30 miles from where I am!!! How about that? Yes,they surely did have an extensive tour.
There is much to see here. My parents are traveling across Montana and one of the Dakota States right now on their way to Indiana. Very different views from my trip down South. Did they travel by bus or train, if they did they saw a lot of the country.
Wauw Ship, Murbreesboro, 30 miles form where you live, that is amazing. I have looked it up in google and have read everything about Murbreesboro in Tennesse. It is about 890 miles from New York. Very interesting for me to learn more about America.
Well Ship, you see the worl is small. My cousin travels through America. He passes not far from your place. And if I did not have known you from Ioanzone Community, I would never have looked for Murbreesboro. That is a town I will not forget. Great, great, great.
Gaff, I suppose that your parents are going to their family in Indiana. How far it that ? I see on the map that it is a long trip.
I do not know how David travelled, by bus or train. I am going to ask it.
It is quite a long trip and they are only traveling about 300 miles a day, so they are going rather slowly. They are going to a high school reunion (they're 59th) and visitiing with family and friends.
Gaff, your parents are very courageous people for their age. I love them very much.
GG,I wish your folks a very happy and safe trip. I imagine they'll have a great time. I'm happy they get to go!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marthe, You're so right,I'm always amazed at how very "small" the world seems to get--the older I get!!!
