*laughs* King Arthur was a much better movie as well. I watched this because 1. Colin Firth 2. Hadrian's Wall 3. mention of Arthur. Not a very good film....but I'll watch anything to do with 'Arthur'. *g*

I watched this movie for the same reasons Maiden did, but I agree with the reviewer that it is disappointing and basically forgettable.

It was the "We've seen similar done much better before." tag that got me......

Actually, reviews about The Last Legion published on Italian media echo that "We've seen similar done much better before." I share that view: while watching this movie, I couldn't avoid thinking of KA, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven and Lord of the Rings and how much better they are than The Last Legion.

It didn't make it out my direction and now I'm kind of glad it didn't. Otherwise I probably would have spent my good money to see it. Now I'm pretty sure I won't even rent it even though it does have Colin Firth.
