I've watch my brother play the game since I was 5yrs old, but my Mum still can't stand to watch it incse her little soldier gets hurt (he is 33 now) but my 3 yr old nephew is getting into it as well. Rugga tots.
Get to a game if you can just for the people.
I tried to read the rules, but it seems to be one of those games where watching it, along with a guide book makes more sense. The one game i saw on TV did make it seem exciting.
It is a lot more exciting when NZ play Australia or South Africa as these are really hard fought.

In English, you say "to take French leave" to mean "to leave unannounced or unauthorizedly." In French, this expression translates into "filer à l'anglaise" or "to take English leave."
Kind of like 'Frogs' and 'Ros-Boeuf' (sp?)?
