"But do I love that stamp of the thinking woman's totty."
And here all this time I thought he was the despicable, vitriolic, and ridiculous woman's totty.
FloMo
Thanks for posting the interview, fishforit!
Totty = hottie (sometimes just a beautiful person, but often boy toy or sex object or )
^^ Thanks FloMo! That sums Ioan up nicely ;)
'Totty' used to be an upper class English term for an available attractive girl. I see it's usage has widened, but I can't shake that slightly snobbish tone from the back of my mind.
I knew I was thinking woman! (as well as a vitriolic, ridiculous one....feel free to contradict me. Anyone? Please......)
Right, so he's basically saying he loves being eye candy, yes? Well
Thanks for typing that up Fishforit, it must have taken a while!
*** Looking good in a ruffled shirt, snug trousers and stepped heals made Gruffudd a genuine heartthrob,
with an avid and rather resourceful female following- two American fans once turned up unannounced at his flat;
he sweetly invited them in for coffee. This inspired Burberry to make him the face of their man's fragrance Burberry London for Men,
with Rachel Weisz. "It is a business and, you know, your body and your face are your tools," says Gruffudd.
Weelllll, if that's the case, they oughta be getting a share of the residuals!!!
Thanks for the article, fish!

I don't want to blow anyone's cover, but do we know who this is? Were they LOTF? I'm curious as to what they think about this story that has become a Ioan standard.
Yes they were LOTF, and there's along account of the experience on IOL (can't point you to the right part in the cached pages, I'm afraid. Frances, Rox, Havoc,Anyone?)
Thanks, Stevie. I vaguely remember reading their story at IOL, and was just wondering how they felt about it now. I recall that Ioan dissed them a little in an earlier telling of the story but here they are getting credit for launching the face of Burberry!

I can recall reading the account of the experience, but I'm unable to find it in the cached pages either. Sorry...
Thanks for the hard work fishie!!!!!!
I`m still picking a present to send you, soooo.... someday it will get to you!!!!
Here's a 14 minute audio clip from Radio New Zealand that appears to be pretty recent as it is mostly about Amazing Grace, some FF, a little Fireflies with a touch of Warriors tossed in. Hope you enjoy and hope it works.
