POLL: For what project should Ioan make a sequel?
I once noticed, that I would like a 'follow up' to 'Warriors'. What happened to the characters 10 years later? Did more of them return to the war? Did they re-integrate in society? Or perhaps not? Is there perhaps another project of Ioan's, that you would like to see a sequel to? So I thought I'd create a poll. Never did that before, so here's first try (fingers crossed) I purposely leave out Hornblower, because I think that 98% of us would like to see Horatio return. And also the 'obvious', like Fantastic 4, cause it already has one and will get another. It's not about possibilities, but about what you would like. There is, to my knowledge, no sequel to 'Great Expectations', but I still wonder how the rest of their lives would have been. And I left out 'King Arthur', 'Solomon and Gaenor' and 'Another life' for obvious reasons .

I am with you on that one Sylviane. Don't need to tell you why  for the obvious reasons and especially this one: 4 days ago on 11th of July there has been a funeral for over 340 people from Srebrenica who were found in the mass graves ( I will try and write about this subject later. The thing is that some soldiers from Netherlands also attended. They were in charge of Srebrenica as a UN security enclave but they failed miserably (was that their fault or not it is not my position to debate) I admire them for showing up though unlike many other that didn't who still deny the fact that the GENOCIDE was committed. So Warriors it is!

Well, I went with Happy Now because I found the character of Max intriguing and it was so hard to decide. Like both above - Warriors would be good to see for reasons stated by both of you. I wouldn't mind seeing a prequel to King Arthur concentrated on Lancelot of course  , but that's not on the poll. I would like to see if Pip ever gets together with Estella, but like Ioan as Max better. A longer visit with Hob and Nob would be fun. If Poldark were better written, it would be interesting to see what kind of man Jeremy grew up to be. Since I haven't seen Man and Boy - I didn't pick that. Great Poll, Sylviane. As you can see, I found it very hard to decide.

I'll go against the stream and say Man & Boy. Actually, a sequel to the book M&B was taken from was written (Man & Wife) and is ready to be turned into a script.

I'll vote for that follow-up to "Man & Boy" myself, Frances. Might be fun to see how things are going with Harry after some time has passed. That little boy would be interesting to watch now too. ------- Another one of Ioan's films I thought about was "Amazing Grace", but covering other aspects of Wilberforce's career maybe. (Not one of your big blockbuster films, however, huh?!!)

I still haven't seen Man and Boy. As for Amazing Grace, it would be interesting to see other aspects of his life. The movie seems to have been "discovered" more as a DVD than in the theater. Ioan sure did a lot of work to get the movie some attention. He certainly attended many events, screenings and Q&A's.

.......and I really loved hearing about every one of 'em too!
