 Seems Ioan is to star as Wind in the Willows author Kenneth Graham. It sounds like an interesting role as artist and father....

:excited: :happydance: Sounds like a great role for Ioan. He would seem the perfect fit and it will be a nice movie to show his own child or children as they grow up. Hope we will get to see this in the U.S.
Hope we will get to see this in the U.S.
Ah, the familiar cry! Some commentators are likening the film to Finding Neverland - if it's on this scale than I'm sure you will :fingcross:
Hooray, hooray, hooray! Congratulations, Ioan!!!!! I'm already looking forward to seeing it. It's been AGES since that story has crossed my path. A story about the author should be just right for Mr. G. (AND,in turn-of the-century costume too!!!!!!!! :woohoo :woohoo :woohoo
For any one who's interested, there's a nice biographical sketch about Kenneth Grahme at:

(Hahahah, wonder if Ioan will have the big 'cookie duster' in the movie?!)
I remember reading and liking "The Wind in the Willows" when I was a child and now I look forward to seeing this biopic of its author. Ioan having been cast for the role of Kenneth Grahame is a pleasant plus.
Nice little article on Grahame, Ship. Thanks. I never read Wind in the Willows. Maybe, I'll have to do it now.
Thanks matie! Here's more coverage of the news from Empire...

Where on earth has Ioan Gruffudd been since starring in FANTASTIC FOUR?

And Secret of Moonacre.
A simple look at IMDB or even Ioanzone would have told him that.
