Morgana's Secret Island (and Igram Ogram)
Here's a bedtime story for Ioan to read Ella.....he has recorded the Welsh myth for BBC Wales and you can listen to it here (those that can pick up the BBC....)

There are other lovely readings on the site too and it's well worth poking around, even for big kids like us!

Thank you! Nice to hear Ioan's voice. :)
That was very fun to listen to.
I love this kind of thing! Right up my alley (as we say here in the US)!! Such a cute story and done so well. Ella is one lucky little girl to have such a versatile-voiced Dad.
That's very nice! I must use these web page when I'm babysitting my nephew and niece.
That would be a good idea,Frances. Hope Ioan does more things like this---it certainly puts some of his many talents to good use, doesn't it?
I wonder how long ago it was done? He has certainly done a lot of audio recordings throughout his career. If I recall correctly, he did audio recordings as a boy for projects for his grandparents. Does that sound familiar to anyone else?
Hadn't heard about that before,GG. But,it would make perfect sense,if so.
Wauw, I liked that story. Horatio has a wonderful voice. And his English is so pure. I really enjoyed listening to it. His voice was so close and it made me happy.

There's a point where IG takes a deep breath, just before he speaks... did anyone catch it?
It made me shiver....
Yes! And it just adds to the story for me.....mmmmmmmmmmmmm...
He needs to voice Howl for Howl's Moving Castle. Although the English version was done by Christian Bale with an American accent. Ioan would be great.
Ioan is (thankfully) making a habit of this. Ella will be the most literate bi-lingual baby in town!

Stevie, I agree with you. And I am glad that Ioan is doing this, and like they say, he has such a warm voice, a voice that makes you stay listening to him.
(edited by me)
This is a cute show. Anyone know what character Ioan speaks for... the little girl in Welsh?
