If it is so, yes, very good!!!!!!!!! :)
The MORE,the better,I would say............Ioan,you go,Honey!!!
Well too bad :(
Buit anyway as long as the roles keep comming..... We´re good!!
Seems like it's on after all. :)
Later in the week, I worked as an upscale Los Angeles diner on the second episode of the new series, The Starter Wife. The series stars Debra Messing of Will and Grace fame. Finally, this weekend in the midst of solstice madness, I worked as a New York library patron on a pilot called The Meant to Be's starring Amy Smart and Ioan Gruffudd (known best as Dr. Reed Richards a.k.a. Mr. Fantastic in the Fantastic Four films).

O-kay! :applaud: This is not a dead project, it seems! I looked over at the Futon Critic and this is what was written about TMTB on May 14th:
CBS had more completed pilots/presentations than any other network - 14. Of those, six went to series - "Eleventh Hour," "The Ex List," "Harper's Island," "The Mentalist," "Project Gary" and "Worst Week." Only NBC ordered more scripted projects - eight, of which just one ("The Listener") had a completed pilot. The rest were ordered off scripts. As for the eight projects that didn't make the cut on CBS's schedule - comedies "My Best Friend's Girl," "My Secret Public Journal" and "Single White Millionaire"; and dramas "Can Openers," "Exit 19," "The Meant to Be's," "NY-LON" and "Tower" - it's not clear if any are still being considered for midseason. The Eye had one other comedy pilot, "Oldyweds," which was stalled in the casting stage.
Thanks for the link, Annee.
Hope still lives! So, maybe there is a possibility for mid-season. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for Ioan. :applaud:
I'll keep my fingers crossed for Ioan, too. I really hope Meant to Be will be picked for mid-season. I would be good to see a new series instead of repetitions of old episodes of established series, once seasons of 'old' series are over.
I think I'm just going to wish Ioan all the luck I can with it,BUT, I'll believe it WHEN I see it!
OH BOY!!!!!!!! I´ll have to pick up my rosary again and start praying one more time!!!!!!
Ms. Smart Talks MTB. :) Thanks To MIS
"This would potentially be a midseason replacement," Smart said in an interview while promoting her current project, the supernatural horror film Mirrors. "We shot it in June, and we find out, I think, in mid-August.

This must be what intern Chelsea called a "presentation", sort of an incomplete pilot. Sounds like we'll find out pretty soon whether it goes to real pilot or not. I think this is what happened with 'Brothers and Sisters' - it ended up being re-cast and re-shot for pilot once the presentation was OK-ed by the studio.
Thanks annee.
.........guess if it's "Meant To Be"......we'll just have to wait a while longer.....(Sigh!).............
Very drole Miss Matie! How painful would that be for an actor? To bein a pilot that is accepted, only for them to say "Yeah, but we're recasting your part!"
Indeed. Hi-diddle-dee-dee, the Actor's life for meeeee,huh?!!!!!
That's how Matthew Rhys got his role on B&S. But, must be really tough on the actor being replaced in most cases. Though Mark Hamil must have wished for it on Eight is Enough.
