Sometimes you find , too, that they throw everything into a pilot and then the series falls flat. Even if it ends up just a pilot, though, it shows Ioan is out there getting noticed and considered. (And I can't wait to see what he does with 'our Tone' if he gets the chance!!!!) :thumbs up
keeping my fingers crossed for another TV series I can become adicted besides House. AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! my 2 hunks on the tv! What a beautiful dream!!!!(and hopefully a reality)
I hope it's a sucess and that it gets broadcast over here in the UK

I admit that I missed most of the pilots of the series I am or were addicted to, so I can't say how pilots generally compare to series. However, I happened to go see movies because I thought they were interesting after seeing their trailers and then be disappointed because the best scenes were the ones thrown in trailers.
Anyway, I agree that no matter how they will do, 'Meant to Be' and 'W' show that Ioan is out there getting noticed and considered.
I hope we can get some pics or more info really soon. This is very exciting!!!!!!!!!
I hope this series works out.
Hmm.......I was under the impression that he wouldn't do TV again. But I hope this goes through and is a good show. I'll definitely keep my eyes pinned!!
Things and circumstances change in life. But I also think Ioan's comments were more on the nature of how frustrating it is to do work for television Networks in the U.S. and then the product isn't given a chance to be seen and cancelled without notice. Perhaps, Matthew Rhys and Jamie Bamber's better experiences with Network television impressed him enough to give it another try. :dunno
Could be he just did the pilot for some extra money, figuring that most pilots are not picked up, but it fills in some acting time. :dunno
I do think the premise has some enjoyable possibilities depending on execution and Ioan does sound great for that role.
I think that if you don´t take chances in life then you have very little possibilities to make it big. Maybe he thinks the same. Dunno!
Total agreement with you on that, Silvia. If you don't try, you never know what may have resulted.

You're right, Silvia... Nothing ventured nothing gained...
I guess Ioan was disappointed when Century City was cancelled without notice half way through series 1, but 'Meant to be' sounds promising and hopefully his second experience of doing work for a US TV network will be much better than his first.
Ecxactly girls!!!!! Life it´s all about taking chances.
It isn't looking very good that CBS will pick up 'Meant to Be'. The big selection day is tomorrow (Wed.) however so maybe it will happen then. So far they've signed four dramas and two comedies for the 2008-09 season. Fingers crossed... :drowning
It looks like IMDB is keeping an updated list. Guess we'll all be keeping our fingers and toes crossed.
I'm keeping both my fingers and my toes crossed and hope that CBS will actually pick 'Meant to Be'.
