I loved most of all the scenes with Scotty because Kevin always seems to say exactly the wrong thing with the right intention. I loved the **'Least favorite Marsian...' phone call he has with Scotty's answering machine, while Scotty is listening to it... Matthew's facial expressions, the way he uses his voice, ...just delicious to look at. :rotf:
**Oh, Yeh, I KNOW!!! I have watched that particular scene so many times I'm surprised there isn't a defect that developed on the recording. I think I reviewed that episode at www.tv.com.
Hey, you guys!!!!! I can't beleive it, but I'm finally going to see what you're all so fired up about! B&S has started showing in the UK. Be right back when I've watched the first episode!

Hope you will grow to like the Walkers, and Kevin in particular, as much as I do. I cannot imagine that anyone would not just ADORE Matthew in this. He's just great!
I just found out yesterday that my niece is a Matthew fan. Since I also found out she's a Ioan fan, I just had to lend her my copy of Very Annie Mary.
Our Brothers and Sisters episode tonight is a repeat of an early episode with very little Matthew in it. Drat!

Just read there's another web-site for Matthew, recently made by a Dutch woman.
http://www.matthew-rhys.net
You need Adobe Flash-something for it, which I don't have, so I can't tell you what the site is like - but she puts a lot of energy and time in it, so I hope it's worth the trouble.
Cheers Sylviane! But a look at the opening page has me a little scared :hide2: Has the incredible expanding forehead gene run riot amongst the Welsh?
Suzette said she would put my banner up there and credit me. I had not been able to check it. Had to take her word for it, so thanks for the confirmation.
Did you see it? It is a bit 'old fashioned' considering what art-work is posted here. But I have no programs to play with the pictures and my computer is too limited to install to much on it. Can only cut them, shrink/blow pictures up a bit and that's it. But I thought it wasn't bad.
Sylviane...
I've added a link to download flashplayer......so it will be viewable for you too!

Thank you for the trouble. Will try again to install it. But personally I think I'd better get myself a new computer. I planned it for early this week, so, perhaps I should make sure that I can cross this off my list aswell, by shopping for a computer tomorrow.
I've been talking about a new one for 2 years now and always something come up. Now I'm ready, I got the money, so time to get one!
I'd say "CHARGE!" but I'll probably be paying in cash, so that won't work
To quote Barry Manilow: "SWEET HEAVEN I'M IN LOVE AGAIN!" :love2:
Some of you may have noticed that lately I'm slightly more into Matthew Rhys that in whatshisnameagainIoansomething.
Today, in my mail, was finally my copy of The Lost World with Matthew. And after having spend an enjoyable 2,5 hours on the couch with him, (well not really Matthew, I'd wish! :naughty , but the movie) all I can say is.... See Barry Manilow quote.
It has two things I adore: There's Matthew :thumbs up and there are DINOSAURS. :pink ellie Forgive me, but those animals have always sparked my wildest adventurous fantasies since I came upon on a drawing of them in a book when I was 5 years old. I LOVE dinosaurs. And in this lovely BBC series they are beautifully created.
It's based upon a book by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle where a small expedition under the leadership of prof. Challenger, played a wonderful Bob Hoskins, sets out to prove that dinosaurs are still living on some plateau in Bolivia, (or something) :???:
Matthew plays a reporter, Edward Malone. And because Malone is also the narrator there is a lot of Matthew ('s voice) in this movie. And I have to say he sounds just as great as Ioan does. I don't think I'd really mind listening to his voice... :thud
I like Edward's character, because he's a bit of the anti-hero. He is a reporter who writes obituaries and he owes it to his stupidity that he's on this mission. HE's the one who gets attacked by the bugs and snakes. He's the first one to find a dinosaur. (which he calls Figaro) It was funny to hear him hum along to some Opera record in the movie (wonder if he likes classical music? probably not.) Matthew made the Edward so human. There's so many stereotypes in the movie. Bob Hoskins as the prof who wants to prove dinos exist, Prof. Summerlee, who wants to prove the opposite. (off course  ) The ever-galant hunter Lord Roxton who practically never misses whether it's about shooting or women... predictable...
Matthew and his co-star Elaine Cassidy are fortunately not. As Agnes she's at first impressed by Roxton, but than slowly falls for Malone... Matthew gets wet in a scene where he has to swim.. !! Always lovely to see. :naughty
As an extra on the DVD there was a documentary "inside the lost world" which was just great, because they picked a scene with Matthew and Elaine to show how the special effects work. :dance It shows how Matthew had to film a shot inside a trap, where he's caught with a dino and how he has to avoid the dinosaur, allthough there's nothing there, because the dino is added later by computer. I liked the way Matthew was filmed being focussed on where the dino is supposed to be, being scared and calculated at the same time.
I loved it! And if you ever get a chance to see it, do it! :applaud:
Well, I'm off to have some nice little dreams about Mattie and dino's. :snooze
matthew in Whatever happened to Harold Smith?I once said that Mattie looked just great in that movie. I always have to laugh when I see him. Well I managed to make a screen cap (thanks HHhatholder!) and this is what he looked like.

Ah! Those good old 70's  :happy :naughty
Oh my yes! 70's Rock Band hairstyle right there. :happy Thanks for posting it Sylvianne.

I've had Fakers in my Netflix queue for quite a while now, and I see that it will be available next Tuesday (Aug. 21). Yayyy :woohoo
Oh, you'll love that one. It is so funny and well made. I received it and watched it 11 times in the first few days!... Mainly because everytime I saw other details. Matthew is great, but so are the other actors. Please let me know what you think of the movie. I'm so curious!
