Also known as jollies (as in "I'm off on me jollies tomorrow!"), GG! But I agree it was a good read. Like you, I don't fancy the bulls!

Hhmm! Now sometimes we say " I get my jollies that way" or something like that, but I've never thought of it in terms of vacation or holidays. Usually, it's a more specific to a specific thing. Like "I get my jollies playing a practical joke" or " I like to go out dancing. That's how I get my jollies." Don't think it's used a lot though.
