Matthew RhysAs said in other postings, Matthew Rhys was my portal to Ioan Gruffudd. And I was introduced to Matthew last November on the hit TV show Brothers and Sisters that I believe is on Channel 4 in the UK. Anyway, Sylviane had said they needed more participants over at Matthew Rhys' newly set up forum and I posted its web address on the Bloggers and Sisters blog tonight at www.abc.go.com. But the show's blog doesn't post anything right away. Sometimes we wait days and maybe even a week before we see our little names appear there. Matthew's site/forum is http://matthewrhys.proboards50.com/index.cgi
I also gave them the address to here for Ioan's fans.
I hope that is agreeable to everyone.
Just trying to spread the news that we have these two places to talk about the Welsh guys.
Tonight we had a new episode of Brothers and Sisters, called "Grapes of Wrath". I know I can't talk about it in detail of any kind because many of you will want to see it without any knowledge of what is coming. I know I'm that way.
Those of you who have seen it, and may not know, there are great, hilarious recaps of the Brothers and Sisters shows every new episode at www.afterelton.com They usually show up on Tuesdays. I'm behind on my laughter at after eltons, because I've been well "here" in Ioan land.

drowning pink ellie < I just
love these things.
Thanks ilovemylife :applaud: . I've been meaning to get the word out on a number of B&S forums, but hadn't got around to it yet  .
I love this one too. pink ellie So cute.
Thanks! I would love to see more people on Matthew's forum! It looks great and deserves any attention it gets. I just love Matthew.
Trying to get through the movie 'Peaches' now. I don't know what to make of it yet. Matthew is lovely in it. Making me smile, angry, and sometimes go 'aawwww' cause he's cute. So the verdict is still out, I haven't seen it completely, still 20 min to go, but maybe tonight I'll finish it.... :
Just ordered 'Fakers' from Amazone.... Very curious how that one will be.
It's fine for anyone to give out the address of this site to any Ioan-related boards! Maybe a kind of 'Six Degrees of Ioan Guffudd' vibe will link us all!
Hey, Life! This sounds interesting! But I don't quite understand. I'm a lot less 'net savvy' than people think (just learning fast since starting this forum! ) Could you spell it out in words of one sylable for me please?
Spreading the word of The Zone @ Brothers & Sisters ABCI post at the Brothers and Sisters blog at www.abc.go.com, the writers blog called "Bloggers and Sisters" And I wrote in a commet there on May7th about this fansite as well as Matthew Rhys'. Today it was finally posted there by the moderator. Below is the link and I have copied and pasted my entry.

"Grapes of Wrath" is a good episode. I missed seeing Matthew Rhys enough in last week's "Bad News". As much as I think the actors and actresses all have their shining moments and scenes, Matthew stands out for me. Can't wait to see Eric Winter and Matthew Rhys together again....and see how it either sets us up for more or closes the door.
Been busy over at the closing of ioanonline. New site:
forumer.com/" target="_blank">http://ioanzone.19.forumer.com/
and found out there that there is a NEW fan site and forum for Matthew Rhys. I thought some might like to come and check it out, especially with this blog being dormant soon. It is

I like Matthew Rhys now for some strange reason. He is cute, I suppose. There was a very nice pic of him in the Wales on Sunday newspaper my grandparents happened to have. There was a pic and article of him filming The Edge of Love with Keira Knightley.
I love him in the Abduction Club. That's one of my favourite films...
I finally got to watch Wednesday's episode of brothers and sisters again. Lots of things happened at the same time. Lots of comments passing between the family members. But basically, this is the episode in which they decided to sell a ranch/house that belonged to the family. Nobody wanted to go there again and as luck would have it they all ended up there in the same weekend. :happy
Anyway, Kevin was asked to be a sperm donor for his brother and he refused. Off course this HAD to be discussed at the diner table with everybody venting their opinion, which was both :rotf: and :hmm: . I loved how Kevin, later, talked to his sister and explained why he had refused. AWWWW!!!
I cannot help it, but Kevin is growing to be dearer to me each week. Matthew portays him wonderfully.
Matthew Rhys is still best part of Brothers & Sisters
Sylviane,
I just watched the final episode of the first season. I liked it. Thank Goodness Kevin had more in this episode. When Matthew's Kevin has little in an episode or two - the show leaves me a little "wanting".
Tonight was a good one, though.
Yes, I like that episode where they are in the Ojai Ranch house. Funny when Justin falls out of the tree house with his girlfriend. :happy And that look that Matthew gives the two of them ... and just after he is asked for his sperm. And the way Justin waves his one arm to them ... that they are okay "after the fall". Funny. :hmm:
Sally Field was good tonight. And they all got wet in the end of the episode.
 Sandra

I really liked the ending too. Coming from a large family where there exists a variety of political, religious and life style views, I can relate to the back and forth bickering, but when it comes to family vs. the world; family pulls together. The wet scene reminded me of my younger sister's wedding when all the siblings ended up in a barefoot inpromptu dance around her to Billy Idol's "White Wedding". It was so much fun and a cherished memory. All the other guests weren't quite sure what to think of it, but we were just being family. That last scene is part of what bonds the Walkers and makes them seem like a real family.

Great pics, ilovemylife. Thanks for the little preview. I would have been interested in this movie because of Dylan Thomas, but Matthew Rhys makes it even more tempting.
