It is a fun site to visit occasionally, Nicolette. But, we need you around here more frequently.

I finally got to see this as some kind soul posted it on Youtube. LIked it very much and want one for my collection. Ioan did so great playing a Dad for Pat that I just can't wait to see how he does in real life. So cute and loving.

Glad you finally got to see it,GG. It IS a sweet story and the little boy is adorable. (Of course, "Daddy" is adorkable, and ain't bad either!) I like the scene where Ioan is helping the little boy with his bath...............I've got a mental image of that for the real Ioan,a few years up the road ,too, don't you? Awwww,it's really happening, isn't it?

I recently got round to reading both the books Man and Boy and then Man and Wife and it was brillant I only wish they would make the sequel.

Yes,I've heard the sequel is good too. Would be a good follow-up project for boy-o,but the age difference might make a difference NOW tho'.

Yes,I've heard the sequel is good too. Would be a good follow-up project for boy-o,but the age difference might make a difference NOW tho'. In fact, Man and Wife picks up about where Man and Boy left off and Ioan was about the age Harry Silver was supposed to be in Man and Boy when M&B was filmed, so I don't know if Ioan would be an option, if Man and Wife was made into a film. I guess that a sequel to Man and Boy has never been truly in the cards for BBC (why wait so long to produce it, it it were), though I would have liked to see it.
