Alright now ladies... This 'Horatio on Horatio' interview you're referring to. I'm frequently nuts, but I'm pretty sure I remember an interview with Ioan dressed as Horatio and talking about Horatio. At one point he can't remember Captain Sawyer's name and makes a funny face. He also says something like, "the little sh**s. No I love little kids really" when a group of them walk by a building behind him. That's not the interview? It was quite charming!
Sorry if I'm belaboring the point, but I'm really curious...

I'm frequently nuts, ..
I'm always nuts! :happy I blame it on menopause.
Now I gotta drag out my sets and watch all the extras. If he's talking about Sawyer, then it's on the Mutiny/Retribution set, right? I don't recall interviews on those extras. If there is a whole new set with a completely different set of interviews ... gah! Not sure I could convince the hubby the need to shell out another chunk of change buying DVDs of something we already have. Of course, I could set them on some sort of endless loop playing and wear them out. Then I'd have good reason to buy a new set.
If, in fact, there's some new material on the interviews (could be a recut of the material from way back ...) I hope there's a way we can get it copied and uploaded to our eventual gallery!

No, there's an a sort of monologue attached to one of the la-*test*-('") box-sets,
I have uploaded three clips from it that I have on my PC, but I don't think it's the whole thing.....

Actually, I've done some research and discovered that HH Collector's Edition is for the most part a repackaging of HH1, HH2 and HH3 Region-1 DVDs. What they added is an about 20-minute-long interview with Ioan (Horatio on Horatio), which looks to have been taped at the same time as the promotional spot that Ioan did for Amazon.com in 2005.
If you already own the DVDs, it probably isn't worth your while to spend money on something that you basically already have. If you don't own the series, buying HH Collector's Edition is worth considering. Obiously, we are talking about a Region-1 box set, so suitable for dvd players in North America or regionless ones.
usHHfan has some pics on her site gallery of the interview at

It worked! Thanks Stevie! I hadn't seen that interview before. :applaud:
And thanks for your added information, Frances.

Great news on both counts! This opens up a whole new set of possibilities......

Yes I'm thinking there must be another DVD edition out there somewhere! I only remember reading about the interview I was asking about at IOL. And seeing some captures of the "faces" Ioan was making.

I could be completely off on this, but for some reason I think those captures and the interview from IOL came from a Japanese edition. I'm sure there was a Japanese version out there that had bloopers and other extras.

Okay this is officially going to be my last post going off topic (wish me luck!), but Hil both your comments in this thread made me laugh this morning, especially the one above. :happy It's great having you here :hug

I second that, Zoo! And also second the menopausal nuts theory, Hil. I've been using it as an excuse for sooooo long now, I sometimes wonder if I'm now imagining the hot flushes, night sweats, momentous memory losses and emotional rollercoasters just to have an excuse for my nuttiness!
(well it's been six years now - that's quite enough, you hear!?!)
zoo.station- 01-03-2008
Well at least you CAN blame it on menopause, I can't for another 30 years. In the mean time, everyone thinks I'm crazy and I don't have anything to use as an excuse! :happy

Yes you have, Zoo! Adolescent hormones! Then there's Student Abandon, Career Woman Ruthlessness, Pregnancy Hormones, Exhausted Mother Getout Clause, Empty Nest Syndrome, a brief Shirley Valentine Episode (if you're lucky!) and then - last but not least - Senile Dementia.
There is always an excuse!!!!!

*mutters to self whilst writes* '.....last but not least - Senile Dementia'
Thanks Stevie, I am now well prepared. That list will last me my lifetime. The pregnancy hormones makes me laugh, it reminds me of when I told you I was having a baby. Please tell me you remember that?

How can I forget being utterly hoodwinked/appalled/worried and subsequently relieved in the space of two minutes! It ought to be against the law to do that to a mother, anybody's mother!
You have a wicked sense of humour, Kaitlyn (I mean that in a good way - don't ever change! :hug
