Ladies/Lads of leisure
I took the day off work today (it was a special day!(all on my own)!!) and decided to watch King Arthur with a bar of Cadbury's, feeling completely guilty of not doing anything (slightly pathetic) and just vegged out.
What would you be doing?
Hello.
Sounds cool!
Today I ordered beauty products online :) and just surfing on the Net. :)
Sounds like it was a day for treats for you, ladies.
What would I be doing if I had a day off and I was all on my own? I think that I would visit my local library, possibly a book/video store, and if there was something interesting on, I would go to the movies. Ah, and of course, I'd get an ice cream.
I would take my brekkie back to bed while I read or wrote depending on my mood. Then I'd get up late and have a long hot bath. If I was on my own I might take a trip to town and wonder around some shops, before meeting a friend later, just curling up on a sofa together and nattering til the small hours (after laughing til we cried using the WiFit!).
If it was a sunny day, I would go biking or for a walk with my camera or take off in my car for parts unknown. Alone or shared wih a friend is good. Though I must admit, curlng up on the couch wit a Ioan movie and an ice crem covered Ghiradeli Brownie sounds good, too.
Well ladies, last saturday, instead of cleaning my house, I went to the shopping center.
First I went to the hairdresser's saloon, then I bought some new shoes and a new outfit for the spring. And before leaving I went to eat a warm waffle. And all this was not planned. And I have enjoyed it.
Mhmm, I have another two hours to write Brothers & Sisters fanfic and then I need to do a few things that make it look like I had a busy day  (quickly vacuum and clean floor) But until then.... I'm writing! :bye:
Yesterday,I curled up with "The Duchess and the Devil" and watched Ioan carve a pig! (Amongst some OTHER things he does so well,of course!) haha!
Mhmm, I have another two hours to write Brothers & Sisters fanfic .....
Yes, fanficcing is most compelling! Ha ha, I didn't think to mention it as it's so much a part of my daily routine most days (you didn't really hear me say that, Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Trust!)
