Keepers of the Zone

So we Yo-Zone around, call ourselves Yo-Zoners and abbreviate it to YZ's. That sounds like 'wise' to me. :P Yes, I can live with that. I had a double feeling about LOTF or not. There's a part of me that screams that we stick to LOTF and I don't want to feel like we 'forget' about IOL. Perhaps forget is not the right word I'm looking for, but by lack of another I use that one.) On the other hand. This is a new adventure and a new name would be fun. Dunno, I have mixed emotions. But I do like Yo-zone(rs) = YZ :D

I don't know, I very much connect LOTF to IO. At the same time I don't really mind. Yo-Zone is great. "The Yo-Zone, filling the hole in our Ioan universe" :roll: Makes no sense I know, but that's been in my head for a day now. Maybe now that I've got it out I can reclaim by mind.

I love "Yo-zone." It's cute and catchy and very expressive of this place. Like everyone else, LOTF means IOL to me. There are some things to transfer here ---- like all the dear, sweet members. There are some things to be left behind -- like all the IOL jargon -- LOTF, IBRP, etc. Just my opinion. Glad to see everyone here! Charlotte

First of all, welcome, Marian. Good to see you here. :) but why cant we use LOTF (L can stand for Lads and Ladies)?? Though it is true that this is a forum and the people participating in it are Ladies or Lads of the Forum, but as it is the case with Stevie and Fish, LOTF will be forever tied to IOL in my mind. I like the verb 'Yo-Zone'. :D I agree, I was just curious as to why it needed to change when everyone from "over there" is over here. :lol: I like Yo-zone too.

Since I don`t have much imagination (ouch... self- insult alert :lol: ) I support the "Yo-Zoners" idea.

I'm so new here...I'll take whatever you give me....but that can't be all ilovemylife has to say....right? :roll: My nickel's worth: I like... Keepers of the Forum or Keepers of the Loft or Keepers of the IOANZONE I thought of "You can get anything you want at _ _ _ _ _ _ - _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ " ......you know... that song, ALICE'S RESTAURANT........ ..... i jest... I don't suppose that would go over too big with Ioan...naming it after Alice. :wink: oh, I just went back to check it was Keepers of the Zone, oops! KOZ, be what we are then?

I understand how everyone feels about LOFT - I'm a fully paid up, card carrying member myself (and always will be) but it was April's wish that this be a new forum, that didn't try to emulate IOL (impossible, I hear you cry!) So, out of respect to April, I'm trying to present a new face, that is still recognisable as the kind of place die-hard LOFTs would like to visit. You are all helping me do that - much appreciation and hugs to you all! Stevie

I thought of "Protectors of Ioan`s Zone" :twisted: :rotf: :whistle: .... but I Don`t think the boys on the forum would like that :lol: :mrgreen:

what to call it
hmmmm Yo-Zone....I havent really caught on to that...at least not yet. I keep refer to this as THE ZONE. Come to think of it there is a bar ,excuse me "a pub", called The Zone back home. I guess there is a connection considering you can get hooked on Ioan like getting hooked on drinking. LOL Ioan-holics Anonymous anyone? We could start a 12 Step program in here! :lol: :wink:
