Just a quickie
Okay so...for some unknown reason, I have gotten sucked into the Twilght saga that all the teenaged girls are screaming about. This would not have been an issue had it not been for my hormones and god's wacky sense of humor. The last book in the series caused a catagory 7 hormonal meltdown being that I have no babies to love and snuggle not to mention a drop down gorgeous vampire husband who saved his virtue for you and sparkles in the sunlight to father them in my echoing shrivild little womb. Plus there are two woman who are pregnant with twins at school. Pregnant belllies every where. No soul mates, vampiric or otherwise, on the horizon. My ability to attract on is also doubious. ...so I have spent the last two months in a state of "oh god, do not burst out into tears for no reason....its just a commerical, you need therapy. Lots of it now. Lots, and Lots of therapy. LOTS. More that LOTS." Natalie also decided that we needed to get another cat since Meera is getting very bored and out of hand. So last Saturday we brought home BELLA. Bella is a grey-blue tortish shell of three years old and LOOOOOOOVVVVES to have her belly rubbed. So in short, I want babies. I want a sparkly vampire teenaged husband who just likes to lay there and watch you sleep and venom that makes his breath smell like the most seductive scent imaginable. Plus my mother took advantage of my weakened state to begile me into setting myself up on eHarmony. Oh the horror. I actually have some hits. However, they want pictures. I have Post Tramatic Shock lasting from 1983 when my mother got a camera for christmas. There are no shots of me past 1992 when I was frozen in my 23 year old, size 6 glory with long lucious locks of reddish brown hair that smelled of musky jasmine. *sigh* If you are up for a Harry Potterish light read, I suggest the Twilight Series if you can pry copies of the four books in the saga from the hands of the 15 year old girls who have them. They are very entertaining when your hormones arn't in DEFCON 1 mode and they capture those wonderful moments of high school that make you giggly. Plus -- super gorgeous vampires that smell intoxicating and sparkle in the sun.

Mim, you make me think of Blood Ties and the gorgeous guy (Karl, Kurt Schmidt or something) who plays in that! I'd gladly let him bite my neck! On the baby front - I dig the hormonal scene (I swing between young men and babies all the time! ) Fortunately I will soon have one of the latter (by default) to quench my thirst. We live in hope of the former

Oh Mim it's funny you should mention that since I only just got into the series myself a couple weeks ago. I started a thread for the movie over in Not Ioans. I hope Gaffer's Girl doesn't come in here and read this. She just started reading the first book and I don't want her spoiled. Although I was spoiled slightly by a certain outcome in the 4th book. But honestly it wasn't a HUGE spoiler - it was something that anybody would have guessed after reading halfway through the first book really. But I get what you're saying. Edward is hands down the most romantic fictional character in the history of literature. Sorry, but that's just my opinion. Glad you enjoyed it though. I can't wait for the movie!!! Oh and congrats on the new cat....lovely name too!
