Ischia Fashion Award
MR FANTASTIC TO RECEIVE DI ISCHIA FASHION AWARD. SCOTTISH ACTOR WILL RECEIVE “ISCHIA FASHION AWARD” WITH ITALIAN ACTRESS ALESSANDRA MARTINES. "Mister Fantastic" lands at the Ischia Global Festival. Ioan Gruffudd, heroe of The Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer, the eagerly awaited film based on the famous comic strip by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby that comes out today, June 15 in theaters all over the world, will receive the Ischia Fashion Award by Fiuggi, together with Italian actress Alessandra Martines. Both will be guests of the fifth edition of the Global Fest from July 9th to 15th at the Regina Isabella hotel in the town of Lacco Amno. Thirty-three years old with a model’s physique, Ioan Gruffudd (who has just finished shooting Dennis Leecon’s Fireflies in the Garden with Julia Roberts) began his career with the series People of the Valley before making his big screen debut in 1997 in Wild by John Grey and taking part in the colossal Titanic. He was the romantic Kevin Shepard in 101 Dalmations, the lieutenant in Ridley Scott’s Black Hawk Down, and he wore Sir Lancelot’s armor in King Arthur. For the second time, the Welsh actor plays the role of Mr. Fantastic, the likeable superhero with the ability to stretch all his limbs an incredible distance. BIG CONGRATS TO IOAN!!!!!!! I always thought that if the acting didn't work out or he had a long "drought" between movies, he could ALWAYS take that "MODELS PHYSIQUE" and put it to good use. I am STILL drooling over the pics he did in :applaud: BEST LIFE back in April :love:

Thanks for sharing, Annee. SCOTTISH actor? :happy LOL. I wonder where that "Scottish" comes from... I would have understood if they wrote "English" because Wales doesn't have a clear identity separate from England in the eyes of Italians, but Scottish... Ah, that must be it: if you're British but not English, you must be Scottish... :hmm: :unsure:
