Yeah, sorry to hear that, Jules! :weeping but I'm sure, as Ioan gets 'biger' there will be more opportunities. S :sad eems you have much more chance of seeing him in US than we Brits do.
If only I could get close to him while he's right here in my area. But I suspect they will just fly the cast in for the opening ceremonies of the race and fly them right back out. But I keep watching the papers for any other appearances and crossing my fingers.

My friend who is going to the race is keeping track on all the NASCAR sites. She is letting me know if she hears anything about other appearances, so if I hear anything I'll let you know Maiden. I hope you get a chance to see Ioan and the rest of the F4. My friend's promised me pictures if she gets anywhere close.

I am not a big race fan but several in our office are and they are keeping "tabs" on the action for me to let me know of any events. They did tell me a few things:
Since FF4 will be "sponsored" (promoted) at the race - one drivers car will be picked to wear the FF4 "logo" on their car hood (like Budweiser does for Dale Earnhart, Jr.) during the race.
QVC had "racing fans only night" where they sell die cast cars from a certain race and my friend said that they probably will sell one with the FF4 logo on it for the public.
My friends also said that a lot of the FF4 promotion stuff will be done BEFORE the race ever starts and may only play on a special sports channel and not the one that the actual race is on, so they are looking into that for me too.
If I hear more - will post and let you know.

My co-worker found out that the car that will be "sponsored" by FF4 is the car driven by Elliott Sadler and his car number is 19 (see picture link above). I thought they would have the poster (with all 5 characters on it) as the logo on the car but it is the Silver Surfer coming out of the FF4 symbol (on the hood) and the Fantasticar (on the back sides with the FF4 logo). And of course it is a DODGE car (did you have any doubt???? LOL)
That skydiving stunt will be a spectacle to see - hopefully, someone can capture it and post some pics here.
Forgot to add that QVC will be selling a die cast copy of Car #19 the Friday before the race on Sunday. My co-worker also said that Wal-Mart will sell a smaller version (about the size of a Hot Wheel car - if you remember those!!!!) replica around the race time, also

The race will be shown here from 9am to 2pm on Monday - then I have the last 2 hours of another race where another fav actor is going to be. I think it's at Indianapolis - but I have it circled in the sky guide.
This is not to mention the F1 from Monaco - my fav race of the season.
I live in Concord, NC and I'm going to try and get to the race. If I go, I will try to take pictures.
