Ioan Shows His Expertise
Well this sounds interesting! An inside look at the Brtish film industry - it would be interesting to hear what Ioan has to say!
If you are a US movie maker who has made or has wanted to make a movie in the UK, or vice versa, the BritWeek Filmmakers Forum on April 24th at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills (9876 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, CA 90210) is for you. Called “Over There,” the Forum shines on the BritWeek calendar (www.britweek.org) as our UK and US film luminaries trade secrets, lessons and barbs about working in each other’s cultures. This is an unprecedented opportunity for both aspiring and seasoned film industry professionals to learn from successes and mistakes of some of the most exciting people in The Business today.
ACTING OVER THERE: David Hunt (24, Amazing Grace, Everybody Loves Raymond) moderates and panelists include Ioan Gruffudd (Fantastic Four, Black Hawk Down, W.), Owain Yeoman (Troy, The Mentalist, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles), and Lucy Davis (Studio 60, Shaun of the Dead, The Office).

That would be fun to go to. Not too likely from where I'm at.
This is another time when I'd love to be the proverbial "fly on the wall" and listen to what was being said. Wouldn't that be fun and interesting though?
Yes, and it looks like aspiring filmmakers can attend. I wonder if it's similar to the Screenwriting Expo, I've attended. At one of the panels at that event, I got to hear one of the Producers of Amazing Grace speak about it before filming even started. That is when I found out Ioan was to be in it. Oh, I wish I could be there.
I wish it for you ,too,GG. I know you'd get so much out of it!
Yes, shame it's not in September, eh, GG!?!
Really, that would have been much better timing. I don't understand why that can't just postpone it until then for us.
Well, I'll just give Ioan a ring and ask him, shall I? I'm sure he won't mind....having two crazed Ioanistas fainting in the back row is always good for one's image......
Wouldn't he just love that! The panel couldn't get any work done. We'd probably get booted because of the audible sighing coming from the back row every time Ioan spoke. Fun to imagine though, isn't it?
Yup. Imagine the sniper movements under the chairs as we get closer to the stage....then Bam! Welshboy won't know what hit him - a lipstick mark on each cheek and two happily shrieking Cymraeg Crumpet Commandos disappearing out the door........only to rendevous at the Stage Door and plan our next attack  :whistle
Ah, this is one of those occasions when I wish I lived nearer to LA :wall: Hey, do you think it is too late to to take a plane to LA so that I can be there on Friday? :whistle
Hmmm! I'm actually off on Friday and I could take Saturday as a floater holiday. Hmmm! Nope can't do it. But I sure do like your vision, Stevie.
