It's not until you hear people speak or read quotes such as these that you see beyond the characters that they portray and hopefully see an insight into the real person. To me, it gives me the insight into a person that is eloquent, intelligent, family orientated and humble. An individual that I would be honoured to know. Keep the quotes coming. :Baby Angel;

I agree totally with Waresl. Nice way of putting it. I also think you can see a progression as he grows and changes as a person. None of us remains static or at least hopefully not. As we grow older, our views and perceptions of the world change and I think that can be seen in some of his quotes. Plus they are just one moment of thought. The answer might have been different the very next day or hour. I do find the progression and shifts very interesting.

I like quotes too, it reveals about your soul. But I agree someone changes time going. In a good way I hope, haha. So, I don't know If I would be angry at Ioan if I would hear NOW something bad he would have said YEARS AGO.

I really have always loved how he talks about his family,close friends,and native country. Those not-to-be-bought-with-money qualities are the core of life and very endearing.
