That worked better for me, too. I agree with Ship that the second Hornblower and your picture of Bush are my favorites, but they are all so good. You really capture the essence of the characters well.
You're so very good at drawing, Painjainen. Very nice drawings. :applaud:
Thank you :D
I am really happy you enjoy... it gives me boost to continue on drawing him. Not that I wouldn't do it anyway, but I guess I would be far sloppier if only drawing for myself.
:-)
Horatio Water Color
Here you go, the first Ioan water color...
I dont' know if it's my screen playing tricks with me but the original was more lighter, more "fresh" looking. I think I just might have to make another one.

I like watercolours very much and this one is lovely, Painajainen!
That is quite well done. I always found watercolors difficult to work with; you make it look easy. :applaud:
Thank you :)
I labour with them too, but I've found out that whatever you've planned on doing an accidental drop of water can destroy... so you have no choice but to go with the flow and enjoy the "mistakes".
That is the biggest problem, isn't it? Perhaps I put too much water on my brush. Regardless, it is a pain to see a big splotch on a piece of art you've worked on so hard. Your work is quite beautiful - very well proportioned and thought out.
Ms. PJ, Oooooo, love it!! You've got his eyes and that lovely expression in them......just lovely! Very nice, indeed. Thank you,and feel free to do more anytime!! Love, Ship
Thank you :) GG, I know what you're saying. Yet sometimes the splotches might turn out to be very charming.
I'm happy you like Shipmate, I won't be leaving that subject alone for quite some time I believe :D
That is another example of your strong sense of visual artistry - that you can make art out of what others might regard as a mistake. I admire that quality.
