The are certainly from Live Earth (arrival or departures, most likely): not just Ioan and Geri Halliwell have the same clothes on in those pics as on Live Earth stage, but other celebrities caught on the same occasion as well. Plus, the Smart (the car on the background of the pics) was an official sponsor of the event.

At least he loosened his tie a bit. I liked how he got a little looser himself after exhorting the crowd to make a commitment to alternate energy, and his Welsh accent came out a little more.
