You know what,GG,-----I'm going to alter my view of what I said above a little. I had read these posts WITHOUT first seeing the video. Now that I've seen it---Ioan may not have had imbibed to excess,because he appeared to be conducting himself well. I'm not saying that he hadn't been tipping down a few,but that he looks and acts as though he could handle a car responsibly. See what can happen if I see/read/respond to some thing out of sequence/context?? Sorry,Mr. G.

I think it harkens back to some of those issues of being a celebrity. It is difficult to relax and be yourself because you never know when there will be a camera there to catch you not smiling or up. Personally, I didn't think the picture of Gerard Butler going into Villa - karaoke looked the best, but it's hard from one or two pictures to judge the condition he's in. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, too. :wink:

This is only an observation,mind you, but when I put Ioan's name in on the TMZ 'search' line, his name came up only this one time. And, I'm thinking to myself----aww,WHY did it have to be for THIS, and not at least something a little more flattering? Especially, the first time on? (I KNOW it's THAT type of show, but I can wish,can't I?)

Didn't realize it only came up once. Maybe they don't keep them long. There was one about a year ago when he was outside Hyde Lounge - when the reporter ( and I use that term broadly) said something like - You're not Paris Hilton, but you'll do. - As usual Ioan was polite, though he seemed a bit ticked and he returned to the conversation he was having with friends.

They may have misspelled his name, which is why the search engine couldn't find him. Wouldn't be the first time. :dunno

You're right, Sylviane, We've seen a wide range of misspellings for Ioan's name, so it is possible that if you can't find Ioan Gruffudd, you could find a Ioan or Ian Grufford, for instance. It is obviously possible (and likely, actually) that TMZ don't keep clips up indefinitely, so older clips featuring Ioan were there but were taken down.

Thanks ladies! There was only the one picture up of Ioan last night when I went to bed. All the pictures are quite nice indeed. It's fun to see Ioan with his co-star from Happy Now - Emmy Rossum. And the blue dress is quite a beautiful color for Alice. My favorite picture, I suppose because it is casual is the one where Ioan is kneeling down getting his shoe ready - just a moment in time.
