Yeah, that might be a little too far for a day trip, but very tempting. Too bad you're working.

For those non-Brits confused by the British political situation (personality-wise) this article goes a long way to explaining it. I also had to smile at the description of Ioan as a "dark, brooding hunk". Beautiful he may be, but 'brooding'?......... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1040928/If-wife-resembled-Angelina-Miliband-Brad-Pitt.html Note to annee : sorry, I hadn't seen your posting of this article when I posted. I think it's relevant to Ioan and the movie, so I've combined the two here. Hope you don't mind! Stevie

Hope you don't mind! No problem. :) Sorry you had to fix my mistake, though. :( I made you waste time. :(

StevieT- 08-03-2008

No, you're okay, annee - no mistake! And any time spent on IZ is a labour of love

. I also had to smile at the description of Ioan as a "dark, brooding hunk". Beautiful he may be, but 'brooding'?......... Stevie You're right Stevie. Although Ioan make Horatio and Lancelot brood really well, I don't think he's had a brooding moment in his whole life

StevieT- 08-03-2008

My thoughts entirely, Havoc! Bless his cottons..........

Shipmate- 08-04-2008

Nah,...not 'brooding'...BUT,he does a good acting job,I guess,if he makes people think of him that way, right? Go, Welshboy, go! :Wales

More About Soundtrack Festival. :) ********* Yared has dedicated most of his time to composing original scores for movies, scoring over 70 soundtracks in the last four decades, and has worked with the likes of Robert Altman, Jean-Luc Godard and Jean-Jacques Annaud among others. His is the la-*test*-('") endorsement for Soundtrack, which already has the backing of actors Ioan Gruffudd, Jonathan Pryce and Rhys Ifans, Monty Python man turned film director Terry Jones and James Dean Bradfield of the Manic Street Preachers. ********* http://www.walesonline.co.uk/showbiz-and-lifestyle/2008/08/18/film-and-music-festival-celebrate-union-91466-21542764/

StevieT- 08-18-2008

Ah, yes, thanks annee! This must be the same festival that he teamed up with Terry Jones for back in June (now there's a match made in heaven! ).

Shipmate- 08-18-2008

Very nice,Annee! Lovely, prestigious company for the Boy-o to be in,eh?!

Havoc- 08-18-2008

Lovely, prestigious company for the Boy-o to be in,eh?! He's better off in the UK, that's for sure!

StevieT- 08-18-2008

Well, you won't find any argument from me on that, Havoc! I much prefer the work Ioan does here and I wouldn't mind having him closer to home more often, either  ( sorry, US Ladies  )

Shipmate- 08-19-2008

As long as he's working, happy, and giving his all to his craft and his performances,it really doesn't matter WHERE he hangs his hat to me. (But,it IS nice to have him here in the US,as long as he's willing to stay! Sorry, Stevie :) )

Gaffer'sGirl- 08-19-2008

I'm with you on that, Ship. There is no way to know where his career would have gone had he stayed in London. It could have been better. It could have been more limited. Or it could have been just the same. It would seem that he along with a lot of other British actors believe there are more opportunities in L.A. Got to go where the work is and if you are happy there, it's a big plus.
