That was really a nice article. Wonder if Matthew wrote it,or if maybe he spoke it in a recorder and then a staff writer wrote it? Anyway, it was very well composed,I thought. I never got to read the article where that picture above was taken. Yoweeeee,Ioan looks good in a cowboy hat, doesn't he? YE-HAWWWWWW! (And other parts don't look bad at all either!!!!!)

StevieT- 10-27-2008

Hmmmm :cowboy: Maybe he's the long-lost brother from Bonanza - Little Yo.

Gaffer'sGirl- 10-27-2008

:rotf: Love that, Stevie, especially after seeing Happy Now. Another possibility since Ioan looks a little more like Tim Matheson than Michael Landon he could play Griff King's son Gruffudd King.

Wauw Ioan looks so good, he has such a nice body (good for me and those who are older than Ioan)   . It also reminds me at Happy Now.

:rotf: :rotf: "Little Yo", very good,Stevie! :cowboy: Thanks for this picture I've never seen,GG!!! Lovely eye candy for sure. :choc2:----------He DOES reminds one of Matheson,wow,....very much....

Gaffer'sGirl- 10-29-2008

Yeah! I think he does, too. And since I crushed pretty badly on Tim Matheson as Griff King. I just couldn't help myself. Even the tilt of the hat is similar.

Shipmate- 10-29-2008

Mmmmm,verrrry nice indeed!

Admittedly the very merest of Welshboy mentions, but this article explains the concept of the Eisteddfod very well, and perhaps shows why it is so close to his heart..... http://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/2009/07/30/the-eisteddfod-returns-renewed-for-a-new-age-91466-24272668/

Shipmate- 07-30-2009

Oh my,Stevie,a very nice article. All the pomp and colorful ceremony would be so interesting to watch----especially if one knew the Welsh language as well. Thanks for posting.

Gaffer'sGirl- 07-30-2009

The Eisteddod system seems a great way to nuture talent of the young and old alike. How great to have an appreciation of your regional culture and the traditions of years past..

StevieT- 09-26-2009

An interesting twist in the Burberry affair......but it's good to hear the celebrity pressure was not all in vain.... http://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/2009/09/26/burberry-under-fire-91466-24784678/

Gaffer'sGirl- 09-26-2009

True. At least it got some compensation for that part of Wales. Not much, but better than the little they would have gotten.

StevieT- 09-27-2009

Had to laugh at this! Not sure if it was meant to be published in this form, but way to go to remind someone he's getting older....... http://www.kxmb.com/News/443755.asp

Did nothing good happen on Oct. 6th? Ah yes, Ioan was born. Something to celebrate.

marthe- 09-28-2009

Yes Gaff, I think that is the only good thing on that date.
