Exactly!. And Frances - I totally agree that it is likely journalists are asking him about how he likes L.A. If they are from Britain or elsewhere, they would want stories from what is seen as a unique place. If they are from the U.S., they want to hear how he likes it here. It makes more sense about asking him about the past.

BTW, I've just had a friend of mine on the phone, who is originally from Tennessee, but she's been living in Italy for 19 years. She told me that she actually talk much more about Italy than the USA, but this is not because she is not proud to be American - she is -, it is because she has much more to say about life and work in Italy than in the USA, after almost 20 years here.

Get Your Party Gown
Get Your Pigtails Down
Get You Heart Beating Baby
Got Your Timing Right
Got My Act All Tight
It's Gonna Be Tonight
You can put this down to my not being very well today, but do you really have to post this refrain every time you tell us about a party, Annee? Well, do, if you so please, but at least let us know who and where you're quoting from, when you quote someone else's words; please, don't take it for granted that other people will necessarily understand whom you're quoting, or are willing and have the time to search, and they may think the words are actually yours.
BTW, I had to google the above refrain and discovered it is the chorus of the Queen's track "Tie your mother down".

Not really. It's my fault.

Yes, given what a party animal Welshboy is, I fear we'd be seeing rather a lot of that refrain! Isn't there a smiley/emoticon you could use instead, annee?

I love the song.
BTW, I could use this   . It kind of reminds me of the rhythm of both "Tie Your Mother Down" And We Will Rock You. Am I allowed to use it?
Frances- 06-13-2008
Yes, you can. Or you can choose a 'catchphrase' that is just one-line long, since it is actually going to be repeated quite often, given what a party animal 'our' Welshboy is.

OK. Very sorry the song upset you somehow. :(

Don't worry, Annee. As I said, I'm not at my best today and this has nothing to do with you.

In this case, I send you a hug, if you accept it. :hug :group hug

How about the 'party' smilie, annee? :party ?
Sorry you're not well, Frances :hug

Hope you feel better soon, Frances. :hug

I also hope that my blood pressure stops playing tricks on me and stops falling too low. From my experience with this problem, I should be ok soon. Thanks for your hugs.

I suffer from hypotension too, Frances! It's a right royal pain in the ass, ain't it? I don't want to depress you, as I know you're not there yet by a mile, but the menopause is a nightmare, as blood pressure drops with hot flushes anyway. I have got very used to having my head between my knees lately..... :blush2:
