Congratulations to Rhodri Owen, then!
StevieT- 10-16-2007
Well, sorry, Gethn, but you just don't cut it for me (and I never watch Strictly Come Dancing!) The list is obviously to do with current exposure.
(mutter, mutter)
And as for  and :happy GM Sylviane........
On Guard! :duel
(Bet that Gethin never has Guttermaidens duelling over him, or protecting his package!)
Gaffer'sGirl- 10-16-2007
I have to agree with Stevie, Gethin doesn't do it for me, at least not that picture. Matthew's a very good actor and I like Christian Bale, but for me, when it comes to overall package Ioan should be at the top of the list.

Alright, General, :duel Will defend Mr Rhys because it goes without saying (for me) that Ioan at least deserved to be(temporarily, no doubt) kicked out of the top 10. AND it is nice to see Matthew higher ranked for a change.
:duel :duel
Ahm, General, are you aware we are actually duelling over men? Really, I ask for a truce. Take mr Gruffudd, I take Mr Rhys, everyone happy. How about a glass of red wine or perhaps a beer? I'll buy! :occasion:
Shipmate- 10-16-2007
HEY, Wait a second, I'LL just settle this and take 'em ALL off your hands,......sounds fair to me!!!! (even though you have some ideas who I'm partial to.......) What do you say,huh?-------------Actually I'm just here for a rootbeer myself! :occasion:
Sylviane- 10-16-2007
(Voice as sweet candy) - Sure, I'll hand over Mr Rhys in a just a few moments.... (Crossing my fingers behind my back :plotting ) ... carefully steering mr Rhys over to the back -door ... hold on! Door locked. :censored :censored and again :censored. Trying to find another exit.... turning around corner.....
Oh, hi, Shipmate. Was not really running of.... :blush2: just looking for a quieter place, you know me. (Yeah, you do when it comes to Mr Rhys  )
Suggest that we take 'em both to the guttermaiden alley. Along with the beer, the root beer, the wine and other drinkable/eatable stuff and have some fun with the boys there. :naughty
And no longer bother this thread... :occasion:
StevieT- 10-16-2007
Don't be silly, GM Sylviane! We're not fighting over who has the men! As if! (I am the Fox in charge of this hen house - first choice is mine! :naughty)
No, I think the dispute in question is a truly Guttermaiden one - Who has the best Package?
Your reports (with evidence) on my cabin desk by sundown. i shall consider a reward for the most convincing evidence. Dismissed!
Shipmate- 10-16-2007
Shall we make haste to the Alley then GM Sylviane? The gentlemen are getting restless, and we both know THAT is to our advantage (this said with a knowing wink and grin)...
Sylviane- 10-16-2007
RRRRight behind you, Shipmate!

Recently I came across a video clip on YouTube of the Welsh actor, Ioan Gruffudd, reciting a piece of Bardic poetry in Welsh.

Can anyone find it?

4. The Forsyte Saga
So good they made it twice in 1967 and 2002. John Galsworthy’s three novel set follows generations of Forsytes, with the materialistic and cold Soames at the heart of the action. The 2002 Granada version was presented in two parts and starred top British talent such as Damian Lewis, Rupert Graves and Ioan Grufford, while the original was such a hit for the BBC that 18 million tuned in for the grand finale.

Sylviane- 10-24-2007
Grufford? :rotf: No, he has by no means reached "A"-status yet! :happy
PS: I don't really think I have the right to laugh, after all this time on the IOL and the Zone I still type Iona instead of Ioan, and always have to correct myself.
