Glad to know Ioan supports servicemen who are unlucky enough to pay the price for their country. I'm hoping it was work that kept him away from the auction
Me, too. I guess we'll just have to wait to find out. Maybe he spotted them a few weeks ago when he was in New York at Fashion Week. I was only about half listening as I had just gotten home, but I think they said Piers Morgan called people he knew to participate and since they both participated in Piers' documentary a few years ago, maybe that's the connection. :dunno
I think it´s great tha Ioan can use his celebrity status to do some good.
Wish I could have seen the program. Am glad Ioan participated in such a worthy cause.
It may be the program FerGi spoke about
THURSDAY, March 6
I threw a Celebrity Apprentice screening party tonight to see the historic questioning of my sexuality get its airing.
This episode pitted me as rival project manager against my bête noir – a vile reality-TV creature called Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth.
Things have got increasingly personal between us, to put it mildly, culminating in her screaming, "Even your ****ing kids hate you!" during a previous episode. Which my sons assure me is untrue…
The challenge was to sell art in a gallery, and I hit every contact I knew to try to finish her off.
Tycoon Sir Philip Green paid $25,000 over the phone for a painting he couldn't even see, Gordon Ramsay $5,000 ("I ****ing love art," he lied), Soho House owner (and Mr Kirsty Young) Nick Jones $10,000, former Arsenal boss David Dein $10,000, and Welsh movie star Ioan Gruffudd $5,000.

Good for everyone! Sometimes, Piers can make me soooo aggravated. But, every now and then, he redeems himself. A little.
With you there, Ship. However, I'd rather not see him win it all.
Thanks for sharing, Muvidlover.I like the captions for the two snaps of Ioan's "agent" at the charity auction. I won't comment on the pieces of art by Shirley Shor as I'm not very much into contemporary art (unless it is literature or movies).
Thanks, Muvidlover. Looks like I got the colors a little wrong, but it was so quick. Actually I like the green and orange pallet better than what I thought it was. While I'm not huge on contemporary art in some rooms a pattern like that just fits better than a landscape(which I generally prefer).
Hmmmmmm. Interesting. Wish I had The Welsh Fox close by to explain his impressions of them to me......... Thanks very much, Muvidlover!!
Wouldn't that be nice, Ship?
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooo yeah!!!!!! :naughty :naughty :Horatio wink:
