Interesting bit of cultural information, Frances. I studied French in school and the teachers never mentioned that. I've studied a wee bit of Levy, only enough to be familiar with him, but didn't know he was known as BHL.

Very fun article with both Ioan and Matthew. I've been past that Ye Olde King's Head Pub a number of times when I lived in Santa Monica and a few times since, but have never gone in. I believe that's where my sister and her husband played darts back in the late 70's when they both lived in West L.A. Last time I was near there was two years ago. Guess I'll have to convince one of my friends to check it out next time I'm down in L.A. Never know who you might see. Also might be a long time before I'm able to go back down. Drat! It's only right that Ioan is more important here and I'm sure that there are many (probably more, at present!:wink:) articles on Mattie's sites that mention our Welshboy only in passing...... I'm glad they've both still got Wales in their hearts. I never doubted it -"you can take the boy out of Wales, but you can't take Wales out of the boy!" My Dad hasn't lived in Wales for seventy years, but still tears up at the Rugby anthems and goes to live games when he can (not so often these days!)

Ioan at fashion week
Hi all, Monday's NY Post had a few line blurb abot IG at fashion week. He was acting the tourist while in NY and had looked forward to the Super Bowl. He was for the underdog Giants. jackiee

Nice little mention Jackiee. I would guess he was happy with the outcome of the SuperBowl if he was rooting for the Giants.

So far I haven't seen any info about his being here for work. It sounds like he is playing the tourist, going to the shows and shopping. Hopefully he has some work on the horizon. My office is a block from the main fashion week venue. I have been paying more attention when out and about but unfortunately no Ioan sightings. jackiee

I love watching Project Runway and think Fashion week would be interesting to attend.
